All are authentic.

Re the third one with the N plant code, on that particular bag, it's correct for a bag made in Mexico. (There are also fakes with N plant codes, so it's a good idea to verify authenticity if considering one.)
Oh wow! Thank you so much! I'm going to go ahead, put an offer in, and see if one of these bags becomes mines in the future. I'll let you all know how it turns out and if I'm successful in getting one. That's super awesome to hear though that all three are authentic. Thank you again for your expertise. Cannot wait for my first vintage Coach bag!

Hi :)
Can you please check these 2 Sonoma bags? Both from a local thrift store. 1st bag has crooked letters & numbers and I was wondering if it’s….normal. Thank you!!

Both are authentic. The second one isn't part of the Sonoma line. It's a nubuc Tribeca large hobo.

Is there a way to search the forum to see if someone else has requested info on a bag in the past?
Marie
Although it's not a foolproof way, there is a way to check for previous requests on a particular item or seller. Go to the "search"box on the upper right side of the page. Paste the seller ID and search.

Part of the reason why we require seller IDs on authentication requests (as well as Hall of Shame posts of fakes) is so members can look up to see if the bag was previously authenticated and/or if the seller ID has a "history," either good or bad.

Item: Coach Sample bag?
Purchased: Estate sale
Comments: All hardware seems consistent, leather is soft, well taken care of, I only found an old lens wipe inside. Looking for some authentication and more information. Sample bags in most cases can't be positively authenticated. We usually advise against buying them because there is no way to date the bag or to know exactly what style it's supposed to be, especially if the style never made it to production. They don't have valid serial numbers, style numbers or production codes. And we NEVER recommend buying them for resale.

I don't think it's fake, but I can't give it a positive authentication either as long as the details we use when authenticating such as accurate serial numbers aren't available. As long as you're buying it for personal use only, I believe you'll enjoy it and get plenty of use out of it since everything I see except the serial number is consistent with a Coach from the early 2000s.
I did a bit of digging and if your bag is approximately 13" wide x 9" high, it appears to be a sample version of style 9293.

This was given to me as an original Coach but I can't figure out for sure if it is authentic. It was in perfect condition but in my research, it seems it is a vintage bag from the early 2000's?
