To tag on to Hyacinth's comments, I'll just add that we avoid giving "values" or selling prices because there are so many variables. Condition, color, desirability and availability are just some of the variables but when an item was made to commemorate a specific event, i.e., a golf tournament in this case, the Olympics, a company or other specific occasion, the existence of an imprint can have a positive or negative impact on what someone might be willing to pay, depending on their impression of the company whose name is stamped on it.

If you want to sell it, you'll have to figure out which size/style it is and search listings and websites for the same item with the same measurements, find listed items, unsold and sold items. You can base your selling price on other comps as well as on how patient you're willing to be to wait for the right buyer willing to pay "your price."

Thank you. I’m new to the site I didn’t mean to offend by asking value. I do not want to sell it. It has a great deal of sentimental value to me. I remember when he brought it home, I loved the smell and softness of the leather. I thought is was the most amazing bag I’d ever seen❤️ (I was probably 10) That’s why my mom passed it on to me. I was more curious if it should be something I enjoy by using it on a regular basis or if I should keep it for special use only. I appreciate both yours and Hyacinth’s comments.

Comment: Serial is G5C - 9966. I would have been more wary about poshmark and this seller if I read through this thread earlier. But the serial font and creed look so close to my mom’s 1996 coach.

Comment: Serial is G5C - 9966. I would have been more wary about poshmark and this seller if I read through this thread earlier. But the serial font and creed look so close to my mom’s 1996 coach.

This Anderson Zip is genuine, but please don't depend on a "Coach" being genuine because the creed looks like another Coach. You should ONLY compare it with a confirmed genujine Coach of the same style number made in the same plant, month and year.

Every plant uses a different stamp,often with a different font, and those creed details change frequently.

It looks pink in your pictures rather than red like the listing. I think it is authentic. More opinions are welcome.

I tried to post a comment to that effect on Poshmark but because of my unsupported browser issues was unable to do so. However, in case any potential buyers take the time to do a little digging, this is the Comment I tried to post on Poshmark:

"As one of thePurseForum authenticators I am asking this seller to provide the exact date or the URL when she claims we authenticated that bag. I have run a Search on ThePurseForum for all posts matching 2 basic details in the bag's description and found nothing that matches. But I've found numerous mentions of fake Sonomas with that 4922 style number. Please provide proof that we actually authenticated that bag, because it should not have been declared authentic."

I Posted the link to this discussion in the PM listing comments section. Hopefully the seller will be honest and remove her false claim.
