Hi! Can you check this bag from Ebay?

M8R-9139
Item number: 115763994922
Seller:eileemirz0

Thank you!
In my opinion, it is probably not authentic. I don't have any proof that R was a valid plant code for the US. More opinions are welcome.

Is she authentic?

Thank you!!!
Looks good. The second to the last picture is from some other bag. It's not "D3B". That's probably a 6.

So far, in almost 20 years I've never seen an "R" plant code with a USA creed from the later 1990s that I was 100 percent certain was genuine either. And style 9139 Bellini Zip wasn't even INTRODUCED until Fall 1999 according to the 1999 Fall catalog which is almost a year after the date code in the serial number.

Looks nice! The model is 9086. Made in 1994. I am not sure of the color name.

I realize you're new here, but you need to understand that only authorized authenticators for each brand are permitted to comment on authenticity or even imply in their posts that an alleged Coach item is authentic. That includes giving a possibly counterfeit "Coach" a Coach name or style number, fakes don't deserve either one. This is explained in Post Number One of this thread:
"AUTHENTICATE This COACH

Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread.

Note: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread. The moderators reserve the right to remove authentications that do not meet these requirements."

Thank you.

All the R "US" plant images in my file are labeled as fake or questionable.

I believe the bag in eileemirz0's listing is fake for the following reasons:
1. The "Coach" imprint on the front of the bag appears to be too high and closer to the top of the bag than it is on known authentic Bellinis.
2. The "K" in New York is incomplete. Also, compare how far down the upper right "arm" of the K comes down on the straight side as compared to the comps:

Here are a couple of comps. (Different plants but note the differences)

Could someone please authenticate the following City Bag?... I have had it for several years and I don't remember which online site I purchased it from. It looks and feels in general like every other City Bag I have handled, but yesterday I noticed a couple of things...
The inside zipper pocket is placed lower than I have seen before. The zipper top of it is several inches below the top of the rest of the bag. Also, I noticed the upper edge of the front slip pocket under the flap was finished by folding over and stitching. I think every other City Bag I have seen has this edge bound with strip of leather (matching) ... I am a seamstress so this kind of jumped out. Here are photos of the bag. I am sorry I missed the back of the eye of the turnlock (it looked just like all of the others I have seen) - I can add it later, but I forgot to photograph it and now I am out of town.*Coach_grn_City_bag_13.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_14.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_15.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_10.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_11.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_12.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_08.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_09.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_04.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_05.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_06.jpg*Coach_grn_City_bag_07.jpg
