Item: Authentic coach black little crossbody
Mercari, seller: Hannah Bolzak
Measures: 8.5 x 5 x 3
Comments: I've had this bag over a year, and lost track of it, and had never had it authenticated. It was in a pillowcase with a sock full of coffee grounds buried in the corner of my purse pile...for MONTHS. (It smells good now.) As I recall it smelled like someone had spilled perfume in it. Now I'm rehabbing it and it occurs to me I should find out if it's legit. Thank you in advance for taking a look see. My research indicates it's a "Legacy Top of Counter Compartment" Bag.

It's authentic. I believe you're correct in naming it.

Hi! I would greatly appreciate an opinion on the authenticity of this British Tan Court bag.

Item: "Vintage Coach Court Bag #9870 British Tan USA 1995"
Listing number: 304775339783
Site where listed: eBay
Seller: abitofsarah
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/304775339783
Comments: I purchased this bag even though I thought it could have been inauthentic because the "o" in the "No" of the serial number is so large. Now that I have received it, I have a couple observations that are making it difficult for me to conclude if it is authentic. On one side of the bag, the stitching on the piece of leather attached to the D ring looks uniform and straight. But on the other side, the stitching on the piece of leather attached to the D ring is crooked and uneven. Maybe it could have been repaired so this isn't the original stitching. Also, the bag is stamped with "DONATED," which makes me think that it could be authentic because Coach would have had to make the decision to donate it.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post!

It's genuine, the "donated"stamp was put there by Coach.

It's authentic, made in 1996 (not 1995). The creed stamping and serial number are correct for when and where made.

As for the stitching, it sure looks like a sloppy repair job. I don't think it was made that way as the thread is a darker color than it should be.

Hi Authenticators,
I just bought this bag today but right now I'm not feeling very confident. I appreciate your knowledge and expertise. Thank you!
