I told them they were counterfeit, this was their response.

Goodwill response: "I am sending this to the manager in the apparel/purse department Coach is supposed to have a COA shown so not sure why these were listed."

So hopefully they will alert the buyer and cancel the sale.

Thanks for your effort, let's hope it works. But the same sort of situation has happened before, and GW and Entrupy each kept insisting that it was the other's problem

Please don't take it personally that your request was ignored. I don't recommend Poshmark and as such, I don't authenticate listings posted there and usually ignore them.

But because I think I'm the only authenticator who would comment on this bag, I'll do so.

So far, it seems okay but I need a few more pictures. Please request pictures of the front and back of the made in tag, a clear and legible picture of the full creed cropped to just outside the edges of the patch and a picture of the small white label that buried at the bottom left corner inside the zippered pocket.

She did send the additional pictures. Thank you so much for your assistant. Let me know if authentic please. She has been willing to send what is needed.

I think it's fine (although Poshmark is still the last site I'd recommend buying from).

Hello

Could someone please authenticate this bag for me and also identify it? I am a bit suspicious about it.....the zip maybe does not look right to me and the serial number is not right for a y2k bag like the seller says it is?

Hi friends! I am new to this forum so I hope I am doing this right. This is a listing on eBay if anyone can help authenticate. The spacing in the creed always trips me up. Thanks so much

It's a genuine Coach from the early 1990s but it's NOT a Convertible Clutch. The seller didn't list a full set of measurements but it's definitely smaller, probably about 9x5 inches judging by the measurements she DID list, and has different pockets. I think it might be a Pocket Purse, style 9755 or something similar, see below

I think the two brown willis bags on shopgoodwill are fakes, in case these are on anyone's bid/watch list?

#1: X is Dominican Republic, right?

#2: The font looks weird to me?

I wonder why this listing doesn't show COAs for the bags? Is that because Goodwill "knows" they're fake? Or is it possible that they were told by both authentication companies that they're fake?

Either way, Goodwill is ripping buyers off.

Someone paid $122 for these two bags!

I told them they were counterfeit, this was their response.

Goodwill response: "I am sending this to the manager in the apparel/purse department Coach is supposed to have a COA shown so not sure why these were listed."

So hopefully they will alert the buyer and cancel the sale.

I agree in hoping it works and that they refund the buyer.

In this case, I think this might have been one of the rare cases in which Entrupy got it right, thus the response that the bags shouldn't have been listed.

The problem is in listings in which fakes were authenticated and Goodwill insists that the COA is valid and = authenticity and neither Goodwill nor Entrupy admits that they err.

Hi all,

Any help authenticating this item is much appreciated!

Item: Vintage COACH WILLIS Camel/Beige Leather Crossbody Satchel Handbag 9927
Listing number: 266012724780
Seller and site where listed: dkaplan924 on ebay.com
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266012724780

Comments: I have the bag in my possession so can upload additional photos if needed. Nothing raising any red flags for me so far, but many years ago I bought a winnie off ebay and you all here helped save me from a counterfeit so thought better safe than sorry. Thank you all again! (slight digression - I love my winnies which I bought many years ago and only started looking at the bigger Willis since I've started seeing people carrying it on the streets in my city - wow have prices increased in the past few years for the winnie in particular!)

So, oops? I think I bought a sample bag. No longer listed online but the seller was located in New York.

Coach Maddy hobo, which as far as I know only went into production in black, saddle, and whatever that purple color was called. This bag is a dark brown, not saddle. The saddle version of the bag also seems to have a darker interior than the one I have.

No style number on the creed patch.

The leather looks and feels like the other modern Coach retail bags I have in glovetanned leather. Hardwear is stamped.

Good thing I like the bag though since now I can never sell it.
