Are there any hardware rings on the ends for a detachable shoulder strap? If so, please post a photo if you have access to the bag. And please include the bag's measurements as listed in the authentication request requirements at the top of each page if you have them, I can't find them in the listing. There are 4 similar School Bag Clutch-type styles but even without the measurements or photos I asked about, none of them matches that style exactly and dates for several of them can't be precisely pinned down and even photos or drawings are almost non-existent.

BTW, it's NOT a Cashin-era bag and not early 1970s, bags from the Cashin era 1962-1974 would not include stamped serial numbers. It may be late '70s or early 1980s. If it's a style 9390 it would be about 13x9 inches and would have originally had a removable shoulder strap that was clipped to the metal rings holding the top handle, and it's definitely a genuine Coach but that's all I can say for sure.
Thank you! Bag is 13x9x3, no rings. I could tell it didn't match the listing name (Cashin era) and wanted another pair of eyes on it to determine general authenticity, especially since the seller has sold authentic bags with the wrong name before (e.g., Calling a Legacy zip the Janice version. Bag was authentic just not the correct style).

This is the only graphic I have for the 9390 School Bag Clutch, probably mid-late 1970s but it could be that bag.

Hi Authenticators,

Please take a look at these two bags.

The first is a brown bag, I think (?) Metro Bucket. It was obtained from Goodwill and measures approx 12x12x3. Am I recalling correctly that the bullseye mark above the creed indicates a retail bag sold through a factory store?

The second is a red Hippy. It was a gift, likely obtained through ebay, measuring about 10 1/2 high x almost 13 at the widest point.

I made this request last night but didn’t realize Hyacinth can’t see photos on eBay. So I’m repeating the request with the photos.

Thanks,BB!

Definitely genuine. The Plaza Bags were both introduced in the Fall Preview 1989 catalog. From the proportions of bag to turnlock in the listing it seems a bit more likely to be the standard size #9860.

Thank you BeenBurned and Hyacinth!! I will make sure to include the snapshots from the listings now that I know some of the links don't properly show the images.
