Happy Holiday's everyone! I was looking into a getting a bottle green coach bag, and was wondering if this was authentic? Everything checks out from what I know, but just want to be sure before dropping serious money on this! Thanks before hand!

Item: Vintage Coach Leather Station Willis Satchel Bag Bottle Green 5130
Listing number: 275564510615
Seller and site where listed: Ebay & @loraowen
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275564510615
It's authentic. Willis is not part of the name. This is a station bag, which is smaller than a Willis.
Hello! I decided to buy this bag (thanks again!!!) but I am curious what year was this bag was made. The creed and serial sequence is slightly different from my other bags where I understand to an extent how to read the year, and I would like to make note in my excel sheet what year this is from like I do with the others in my collection. Would also be curious to know why the pattern in the serial is different as well, would love to learn more thank you
Hiya! Just bumping this because I realized it would be easier on the authenticators if I included a picture of the serial. Any information would be helpful thanks!

Comments: Apart from the "artwork" this certainly is no style 9790, and of course there is no visible creed. Can it be removed solely on the basis that the bag is not advertised with a correct number ?

No. We've seen plenty of genuine vintage Coaches with incorrect style numbers. We've also seen sellers use Ebay shortcuts that allow them to copy and use the description from a "similar" item in Ebay's photo library, just in case you didn't know that option existed and was perfectly OK with Ebay.

If we reported every Coach listing with the wrong style number or item name in the listing, there wouldn't be anything left. Unless the seller's photos actually prove that the item is NOT a genuine Coach and you can explain why to the doofuses at Ebay, you shouldn't report it.

JMO - anyone who would buy that believing it's a real Coach without doing any BASIC research and thinks that the "artwork" adds to the bag's value or charm as a "Coach" DESERVES to get stuck with a fake.

I have to wonder whether the lack of a creed picture is intentional and meant to mislead.

There's no way to authenticate that bag as listed and in fact, no way to know if it's even Coach or pretending to be Coach. A creed photo is absolutely necessary.
Here's the answer to the question on whether kingaseone 's listing is authentic or fake.

Since there was no creed picture, it was not possible to authenticate it. But here are pictures including the creed and they tell the story:

Hello! I just received a vintage Wendie bag in glacier blue from @vintagelover83 on Poshmark and foolishly accepted it before looking at it closely. It threw up some red flags for me, mostly with the stitching not being as nice as other coach bags I have and the quality of the leather. I would love to know your opinion. I’m including a link to the listing plus some photos I took and some from the listing. Thanks again for your help!

The bag is authentic, made in 1997 and appears to be in great condition.
