Dear Authenticators,

Could you please let me know if this Vintage Sidepack in British Tan is authentic? I am not familiar with Turkey creeds. Bought from eBay seller bergstorm62 for $52 USD shipped. Thank you!

I feel like this is "purse porn." LOVE that color. This baby should live in the sunlight. :) The first pics don't do it justice. But the interior in sunlight. Wow. :)

I'm not Hyacinth but I agree that it appears authentic. I'd like to see the left side of the case where the chain and keychain were attached. That should definitely have been shown in the listing since it's obvious that something is missing from there even if the seller isn't familiar with the item.

There also may be a "made in" stamp hidden behind the zipper pocket. (I've had this item both with and without made in stamps.)
Thank you, BeenBurned. I’ll definitely check those out when the wallet arrives.

It's a genuine Helen's Legacy made in 1996.

Measurements can vary, an inch difference is nothing to worry about. And Coach hasn't said where on the bag the measurements are taken.

Leather can fray, and "brass" hardware in almost all bags made after 1990 wasn't solid brass, just plated. None of the things you're asking about affect whether or not a "Coach" is genuine.
Thanks, Hyacinth! I was wondering about the solid brass aspect!

Item: VTG Coach 70s Bonnie Cashin Kisslock Full-Grain Leather Watermelon Tote New York
Comments: Hi, is this "watermelon tote" authentic? Please and thank you for an opinion. It doesn't show a serial number, but yes, a creed statement. If authentic, can you estimate date of manufacture? Gracias!

It's authentic, made mid 70s after Bonnie Cashin had already left Coach.

Both are authentic. The signature one is from around 2006 and the leather one is from 2008.

They were called "slip jacket" and were agendas/planners. They originally came with a calendar, address book and a planner diary.

I don't know the style number of your (larger version) items but the smaller 4 x 7 versions were 8829 (mini signature slip jacket) and 8840 (leather slip jacket).
