It's fake. If it were me, I would return and find an authentic one. There is usually a huge difference in quality. J8Y are always fake.
The quality is definitely there. Other than the serial number, i cant find anything to indicate its a fake. The quality is even better than some of my other coach bags that i bought directly from coach in the early 90s. Its a really good fake!
Thanks for your time!

Dear authenticators,

I purchased this off of eBay as a rehab project, just for fun. Could I please get your opinions on this (it does look like it’s missing the key ring, which I’m totally fine with):

Authenticate this COACH

Hello!
I am new to this forum. I purchased the coach legacy satchel 9063 from poshmark. The serial number has J8y 9063. I have read that j8y is "always fake" but another place i read it may be fake. I like the bag so much i will keep it regardless but just curious about its authenticity. It looks and feels very much like a real coach bag.
Seller is @issaboutaam
Thanks!

I wouldn't hesitate to return it for a refund. For the price you paid, you can get a genuine bag of the style that the bag from issaboutaam. You may not find it right away but a fake bag will NOT compare to the real deal.

Additionally, it's not the only fake being sold by issaboutaam.

And this is another sold fake:

PROBABLY genuine but the paper card inside the case did NOT come with that item, the card is at least a decade or more newer and cannot be taken as any kind of authenticity confirmation.

Thanks, Hyacinth. I figured the card was a recent addition. If I were an unscrupulous seller trying to add some legitimacy to a wallet that looks like it’s been around the block a couple of times, *I* would have at least dog-eared the card a bit.

Anyway, thanks again. It’ll be interesting to see what shows up. Out of curiosity, are there any specific details I could photograph to help confirm authenticity one way or the other?

I'm not Hyacinth but I agree that it appears authentic. I'd like to see the left side of the case where the chain and keychain were attached. That should definitely have been shown in the listing since it's obvious that something is missing from there even if the seller isn't familiar with the item.

There also may be a "made in" stamp hidden behind the zipper pocket. (I've had this item both with and without made in stamps.)

Hi friends! Hoping for an authentication.
Item: coach Willis
Seller and site: Poshmark Canada sassybox1985

Your link takes me to a Vinted listing (different bag, different seller).

I can't find a user called sassybox1985 on Poshmark but the pictures shown in your post are of a fake.
