doesn’t surprise me it’s fake- been coming across that recently. im not sure who the mods are or how to pm them. Can you give me the highlights that makes this fake? What style # was is a fake of?
The construction is wrong. The most obvious sign is the zipper pull with the word Coach on it. A style like this would have a serial number. I think it is trying to be a scout bag #9890.

The mods will have the word mod under their user name. To pm them you hover over their name and select start conversation. Vlad is the founder and you can find him in the post at the top of the page.

My friend wants to start posting here & join the community, however… tPF banned the account because- user is only allowed 1 account. He’s screen name is: Pursepiggy2b & has no other accounts. They could be confusing mine with that account. We are great friends & started our collections together. messaged tPF but no reply- any advice?

I’m posting this bag for them. tysm for any advice & comments.

Does your friend live with you? If the IP address is the same, admin/mods will assume it's the same person.

I wrote to the seller to post a clear creed- the male portion of the lock was really bothering me so i took the chance of posting. Here’s their reply just a second ago- The #s are so faint, i can’t decipher them- tysm for looking at this

The serial number is much too faint to read. I'm not sure if even BeenBurned could work her magic on that one. But there IS a serial number, it's not "pre-serial" or "pre-number", and the creed wording is what Coach began to use in the mid-1990s. It looks like there could be an H or M in the prefix and the style number might be 9755 but that's not nearly enough to authenticate. IF THE SERIAL NUMBER IS MISSING OR UNREADABLE OR THE SELLER WON'T SEND A COPY, DON'T BID.

If comparing one piece of hardware to another, post photos of both.

I did try to enhance and sharpen the creed and didn't meet with too much success. My opinion is that it looks like mellissawils129 may have blurred the serial number with her photo-editing software.

I may be seeing things but I believe I see an "N" as the plant code, definitely making the bag fake.

Thanks for trying, BB!

Definitely best to give that one a pass.
Now that I'm able to post again, I can add a bit more of the results of my research.

Although my "proof" isn't definitive enough to confirm (in)authenticity with 100% certainty, my opinion is that the bag on Poshmark from mellissawils129 is questionable (at best) and fake (at worst).

Even without being able to read the serial number, I believe the bag is fake based on the creed text, spacing and font when compared to other fakes as well as the one in question compared to a couple of genuine creeds.

First shows similar spacing on the bag/creed in question vs. other fakes. Although the PM bag in question appears puffier, there are large spaces between words as NOT seen on authentic items.

Second shows the difference in spacing when compared to authentic items:

The belt is authentic. If it's the buckle that you say is silver, it's possible that the buckle was replaced with a (probably) non-Coach one.
I was just browsing the vintage coach catalogs here and I came upon this nickel plated brass buckle belt. Do you think this could be similar to my belt? Because it does not look like my belt was altered in any way so perhaps it is nickel plated?

Hello All! I’m a newbie here and am still learning the ropes, thanks for your patience. This bag was passed down to me by my aunt. I have no reason to think it’s not authentic but have not been able to confirm or determine the age and style so I’m hoping the experts here can help. I did notice the anchor stamp on the strap clasps and found an interesting thread here about that. I don’t remember who had researched that but thank you. There is a wealth of information here and I love it!
