Thank you so much to the authenticators. I've learned a lot over the years from your assessments, and hope to find some good new rehab projects.

Can you copy each of the sellers' photos of the creed and serial number? Post them as a Reply to this post. Thanks!

Hi, please help to authenticate these bags. Thank you so much!!

Item: Court bag in British Tan
Listing number:
Seller and site where listed: local marketplace

Item: Court bag in Black
Listing number: 175359352049
Seller and site where listed: ebay

1- my browser doesn't work with Carousell so I'll leave both of these for someone else.

2- the creed and serial aren't readable, and the strap is NOT the original one that came with the bag, it has the wrong kind of clip. Again, I'll need someone else to look at this one.
1 - The pictures show an authentic court bag made in 1996.
2. I can read the creed. The bag is authentic, made in 1997.

Thanks! All three are genuine

1- Slim Duffle Sac from 1999

2 - Ridgefield Flap, 2001

3 - "Penny" has so far never been confirmed as an actual Coach name from any kind of contemporary media such as advertisements, mini-catalogs or packaging. The name seems to have been guessed at by some recent Coach employee but I'm much more comfortable using a confirmed name for that style.

It's not a Dinky since the strap attachment is wrong for that style. It looks more like a Pocket Purse, style 9755 from the early 1990s according to the serial number format. It also has the correct construction details for that style including a smooth base with no center seam. Here's a catalog description:
9755_Pocket Purse-1987Holiday-a.jpg

and the base:

I don't believe that hangtag is from an authentic item.

I've compared to two different items from my own items/records and the shape and alignment of the lettering appear wrong. And your hangtag has a flatter surface whereas mine are more rounded.

OTHER OPINIONS ARE WELCOME.

Compare: Yours is on the left in both comps:

Genuine and made in 1996

Has anyone ever seen this keychain as shown? It looks like a combination of the rainy day mix (92072) and one of the BCA fobs (92030) in colors I've never seen and with a handbag charm mixed in!

No, I've never seen that combination before.

ETA - Also on the genuine original Rainy Day keychain made for the full-price stores, the umbrella with the Sig Cs had very small crystals set into the handle. The solid color umbrella had a plain handle. That style also had a solid non-enameled nickel-color hangtag. But as BB said, it's a combination of charms from 3 or 4 different keychains, all in different colors than the originals.

If it's a fake, it's an incredibly good one. Even the positioning of the stamps on the back are correct, and the Cs are the right shape and in the correct positions on the charms, which almost never happens with fakes. There's just no way to really authenticate it 100 percent and I'm comparing it to my actual known-to-be-genuine Rainy Day and BCA keychains. The chain links even are the right sizes for their positions on the piece.

I'm wondering if it's an outlet remake and/or made for the non-US market? Coach usually saved a few pennies on outlet items by eliminating crystals whenever possible. Very likely genuine but no way to confirm it.
