Hello! Could I get some help with this bag? If it's authentic and if so, what the style number/name would be? Found at a local thrift. No hang tag. Creed is a bit light. Measures 12-1/2" across the top, 11" tall, 5" deep. Strap is around 44" end to end.

Genuine. It could be a Monterey Hobo from the Soho/Lightweight line made in the early 1990s.

Sorry this was missed. It's authentic but I don't know what the style is. I'm sure @whateve and/or @Hyacinth will know.

attention @ciaodenny -

More photos would help, like of the narrow side of the bag and an overhead photo of the top. We always need to see how the strap attaches to the bag and the attachment hardware. Please try to take those with the bag stuffed just as if you were using it in your listing photos.

Just 2 photos (not counting the creed photo) of a bag with no stamped style number really don't give us a lot to go on.

Thank you.

Hi, wonderful authenticators! This is too coincidental. I was coming on here to ask for a authentication and the bag right above mine is the same style. So I'm curious what you have to say about hers and mine. Thank you. From Value Village brick and mortar.

Request for authentication (for a friend that’s arguing with PM and seller for a refund)

Counterfeit Saddle Bag
Seller: fabulous518

I know this bag is no good but buyer would like to send pm some evidence of it being counterfeit. Seller is not being cooperative about return so here we are.

Thanks in advance!
definitely fake. I don't know how you can convince Posh of that as it isn't obvious to someone who isn't familiar with creeds. I don't have any relevant examples of creeds to show the difference. What does the back of the female part of the turnlock look like?

In my experience, you don't need to convince the seller, just PM.

It’s indented. There’s also contrast stitching which I don’t believe this style ever had, correct?

Can you post a readable photo of the full creed and serial number the same approximate size as the one you just posted of the back of the turnlock so I can check my files for comparable examples in fake or genuine bags? Thanks.

The indented turnlock is a major red flag in spite of at least one Poshmark seller's assertions over the last 2 years that "Coach started to use indented turnlocks on some remakes". However, this is apparently NOT a remake, and the seller making that assertion never included photos of any examples. Also indented turnlocks on newer styles probably would have a different overall design than the classic turnlocks on vintage Coaches as did turnlocks on almost all Coaches made after 2010 that I can recall seeing. So far I've never seen an indented turnlock on any vintage Coach where the photos showed details especially creed and serial number photos that are exact matches for genuine examples.

And I've never seen that style with contrast stitching either.

BOTH appear genuine, they're a version of the Hamptons Leather Flap Satchel made in 2004.

I don’t think these double rows of stitching above and below the creed are correct either.

I can't say much more about authenticity than I've already commented.

It's possible that the bag may have been made to be sold in the Asian market. Coach does make items for various markets so you don't see a lot of them in the US. From my digging, that seems to be the case.

I did find one of the same bag that sold on Tradesy that you can compare. It appears to be authentic.

The Coach logo on the bottom front of the bag appears to be correct for the style.

Sorry I can't give a definite thumbs up or down.

Hello.

Just want to say THANK YOU!

This Graham backpack arrived and really exudes Quality.

This is my first ever "nice" bag, so greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks again for your help and this excellent service.

Take Care,

Mitch
