Comments: It says it was authenticated by Coach Counterfeits Facebook group but I have never used that resource. Is this a trusted resource?

Thank you!

"Coach Counterfeits" on Facebook is not a site accepted for authentications by any major selling source like Ebay, Poshmark or Mercari as far as I know. One MAJOR problem with that Group is that they're PRIVATE, you have to give up any privacy concerns and divulge your personal information and your full name as registered with Facebook to join, and since many of us refuse to do that because of valid privacy concerns, and since several members of their Management have published hate Posts on that site and others against tPF and some of its members including our PurseForum site-approved and vetted authenticators (their site(s) even say that tPF members are not welcome and some have been Banned for no valid reason, just that they are tPF members), not only do we not have any reason to accept their opinions, but we have NO way of knowing when they're right or wrong.

Please note that tPF does NOT ban any members for simply being members of Facebook groups (there are at least 3 or 4 of them) under the same ownership or management as Coach Counterfeits.

You ask if they are a "trusted site"? Not by any definition I could give since they only seem to trust their own members. And they refuse to open their site to views by non-members.

The bag in the Etsy listing is a genuine City Bag BUT it was made in the early 1990s, NOT the 1980s as the listing claims. So that would seem to be a flaw in their authentication accuracy. Understanding serial number codes and formatting and being able to accurately date those details whenever possible is a very important part of authenticating Coach products.

MORE OPINIONS ARE WELCOME, in case it would ease your mind.

Thank you very much! That's what I thought. And that explains why they never accepted my request when I answered the question about whether I use any other authentication sites saying I use tPF.
Are you kidding?!?!? They wouldn't answer your question because you use TPF?!?!? That says a LOT about that site, and IMO, it isn't a lot of "good!"

There are plenty of sites, TPF, Ebay among them, that don't care where you post, what sites you're a member of and have no reason to deny you answers to your questions.

ANY seller or ANY site that doesn't respond to legitimate questions is NOT worthy of your hard-earned money or your business.

There are sites, sellers and Facebook groups I personally don't authenticate for for various reasons. And since we are volunteers who receive no compensation for our services, we are allowed to avoid or skip any request for any reason.

Thus, IMO, @Hyacinth was much more responsive than I am because when I saw the listing and your request, I skipped over it without comment.

Unfortunately, some honest sellers and buyers are guilty by association and therefore don't get responses on requests, something I'm sorry for but it is what it is.

Dear Authenticators, could you kindly have a look at this bag on Ebay? I have submitted an offer but am concerned about the authenticity. The female underside part of the turnlock in particular.

Many thanks for your generosity in terms of your time and expertise!!

Seller: timshandmedowns

Listing number: 334507009647

Should it be authentic what colour might it be? Considering it has brass hardware I'm stumped.

It's fake. I have its fake sister except mine has a L month code. Mine is a mint green. The leather is stiff and horrible.
