Comments: Also attaching a better picture of the creed below. Saw maybe the black color in this style had Limited Edition imprinted on the hang tag too, but this one just says Lunch Pail. Any assistance in authenticating the bag is greatly appreciated, or please advise if you need any additional pictures. Thank you!!!

Hi All, I have what I believe to be a vintage Coach file/document leather portfolio. The serial number is C6C-5225. From what I have read I *think* this might be from the 70s but I’m sort of lost. Can any of you all help me out?

It's authentic but not from the 70s.

It was made in 1996.

It's authentic but not from the 70s.

It was made in 1996.

So the seller still has not messaged me about a cancellation. She never sent me photos as she said she would on Friday (today). Although I’ve contacted my card company and the funds are on my side the sale has not been canceled by her. Etsy does not let me cancel. Instead I could request additional help from them after I’ve received the item. I received notification that the seller has shipped the item. I believe she is trying to make an effort in keeping the funds. However, if I’ve already spoken with my card company won’t this prevent the funds from going through since I reported it as fraud? Would anyone have insight on similar experiences? Thank you again

I have seen this zipper pull on one of my vintage bags. It's very familiar, especially the way how font runs vertically.
I'll post mine when I find it! (I have so many bags it's hard to go through but I'm thinking it maybe one of the classic pouch bags)

Could it be that Coach actually used this zipper if mine has the same zipper pull? Just curious.

You may want to ask @whateve when she's back from vacation. I've never seen it before.

I don't believe selling-now on ebay is connected to the Etsy crook. Ebay seller selling-now (from NJ) sold the bag to coachowe, who is in possession of the bag shown in the pictures that were stolen by Etsy seller ThingsAnay (from Mexico).

My opinion is that selling-now is an innocent victim of a non-truth-telling picture thief.

I posted this on Secondhand Bargains and someone suggested that I post it here. I bought it last week for $17 at a resale shop in Hartland WI in the "final half off" section before the stuff gets donated. The color is navy. It was sort of smashed looking. I stuffed it, used Fiebing's saddle soap on it. A day later I started applying Coach leather lotion---about a half bottle so far. ( I rubbed baby powder on the creed so that it would show up better.)

the creed number is M8P-9087.
If this is a fake, where were these fakes sold? In the mid-80's to 90's I bought (and worn) 6 Coach bags from Marshall Fields in Milwaukee. I wouldn't have purchased a fake but I am curious about where people did buy them?
