Hello. I just bought this purse today and I am having a hard time finding one exactly like it online. I have found many very close but none with a No. xxxx-xxx that has all numbers like mine and doesn’t have a zipper inside. If you could help me figure out the name of this bag and if it’s authentic that would be great! Thank you!
Item: COACH Purse/crossbody
Purchased: Goodwill

As set out in the READ ME post at the top of each page, please include the bag's measurements. Also, is there an open slip pocket on the back of the bag?

Hi, I'm not an authenticator, but this bag looks exactly like a bag I just had authenticated here. A pocket purse. Here's a link so you can compare photos. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ee-first-post-for-format.889527/post-35199417

Hello,
The Measurements:
Length: 9.5 inches
Width: 2 inches
Height: 6.5 inches
Yes, the back has an open slip pocket.
I have seen “pocket purse” online, but I have not found one yet that has the No. with 4 numbers-3 numbers and says the Leatherware, Made in the United States. That’s the part with the year, etc. I’m wondering when this would be also!

Coach changed those creed and serial number details and formats every few years so please don't use them to identify or authenticate vintage bags.

@ConnieinSeattle is correct, it's a Pocket Purse style 9755 and it was made between 1990 and 1994.

As my mom used to say, "She has more stories than Readers' Digest".

Or as I often say, "Don't lie, and you won't have to remember what you said".
So the seller still has not messaged me about a cancellation. She never sent me photos as she said she would on Friday (today). Although I’ve contacted my card company and the funds are on my side the sale has not been canceled by her. Etsy does not let me cancel. Instead I could request additional help from them after I’ve received the item. I received notification that the seller has shipped the item. I believe she is trying to make an effort in keeping the funds. However, if I’ve already spoken with my card company won’t this prevent the funds from going through since I reported it as fraud? Would anyone have insight on similar experiences? Thank you again

BE SURE TO HAVE ALL CORRESPONDENCE WITH THE SELLER THRU ETSY CONVOS, NOT your email address attached to your Etsy account. (Etsy will/may review the convos between you and the seller if you open a case, but Etsy will not have access to emails you and the seller have exchanged.)

Your 1st step w/Etsy will be to contact the customer (I know, again). If you haven't already, you might be able to get help by using the "help with order" section, selecting "An item is different from what I expected" (even though you haven't received it), then add as many details as space allows like -- before the bag was shipped you discovered that the bag shown did not belong to the seller because it belonged to someone else and you contacted the seller, seller would not (after xx days) provide photos of the actual bag, cancellation was requested but not provided, etc. For your protection and benefit, screenshot her main Etsy page to show that her policies do not mention that she doesn't take cancellations or issue refunds. Screenshot the message you do in the "help with order" section. She has 48 hours to respond, which she may or may not do. After that, you should be able to open a case with Etsy.

I have no experience regarding the funds and fraud report, but it would seem that the action of your bank is enough to prevent reissue of money to the seller/Etsy. It's possible she cannot actually cancel the sale now, because doing so means she has to refund your money....and she actually has no money to refund. But that's just my thought.

Sorry so wordy, hopefully some of this info is helpful.

Edit: Did the notification saying the bag shipped actually have a tracking number?

Can anyone tell me if this is authentic? I purchased from eBay from a seller based in the UK but I’ve never seen the markings on the strap before. P320

Hi, @barcoimage. This is your black Duffle 24, right? I can't speak about the meaning of each part of this stamp but my Duffle 24 has the exact same image. I know that the image farthest on the right is meant to be a hide, indicating real leather. I'm sure someone else can speak to the rest. Your Duffle looks just like mine, bought directly from Coach. Hope you love it!

@DL Harper hello, i have been having my conversations with her through the app only. I did do the “help with order” option and I requested the option “refund”. However, I will try the other method you mentioned once item arrives, if it arrives.
I do remember that she did NOT have any refund policies on her page. And yes the item actually has a tracking number. However, I’ve locked my card and so once it reaches customs I know there will be an import fee that will not be able to be charged. And that will possibly prevent continuance of the item, therefore, the item will be shipped back to her. I hope.
thank you for your input. Will update again.
