This lovely number in grape was a gift to my sister many years ago. Any information regarding style name, date of manufacture and verification of authenticity would be greatly appreciated.

Dimensions are 5 1/2 wide, 7 tall, 2 1/2 deep. Crossbody strap is not adjustable.

Hi! I just thrifted this sad worn little wallet. But the zipper pull kinda worries me! Is this fake? Thank you so much!

The zipper pull AND the magnetic snap are both serious problems. Definitely fake and probably made in Korea, I've seen a similar zipper pull on many Korean fakes. The Coach stamp on the inside also seems too big and in the wrong position. Get your money back if you can.

This beautiful bag was passed down to me. Any info regarding style name, date of manufacture and verification of authenticity would be greatly appreciated.


Dimensions are 11 wide, 7 1/2 tall, 4 deep. Strap has 4 holes each side, no grommets.

Genuine. It looks like a Spectator Bag style 9796 from the middle 1980s. From a 1987 catalog:

@BeenBurned Hello I’ve reached out to her as well and she fed me some story. I will attach a screenshot. After I sent her my initial message telling her that she was lying she did not acknowledge that message. Instead she sent me a completely new message. I did not respond to her. The sale has been disputed by my card company and funds are back. Thank you for your response. I see she has removed the listing for the purse.

As my mom used to say, "She has more stories than Readers' Digest".

I can only imagism the time and effort that went into that! Going forward, I will see if I can identify a bag through the catalogs, but may need to still call on you absolute experts if I get stumped.
