Hi everyone! Can someone please authenticate these two bags? Thank you

Bag 1:

Item: Small black vintage coach purse

Bag 2:

Item: Coach Black Shoulder 9214 Vintage Fortune Cookie Leather Hobo Bag
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/175306438950?hash=item28d113f926:g:16sAAOSwoFZiPHqr&LH_BIN=1

1- I believe it's genuine but can't give you any name, number or date of manufacture. There's no useful information in the listing. it's very possible that it's not even vintage yet.

2- Genuine Fortune Cookie Bag made in 2001.

Comments: Another stewardess for rehab. Yay! Please and thank you for taking a look and letting me know if it's authentic. Not sure what's going on with the serial number or lack thereof.

Genuine, from the very late 1970s or early 1980s

Hello! Found this at a garage sale. So many people are getting rid of this vintage Coach makes me so sad.

Genuine, early 1990s
Hi, May someone help me authenticate this bag I just purchased.

Item: Vintage Coach Basic Bag in Bone
Listing number: EzClXqzQIqb
Seller: @cutietsai
Link: https://posh.mk/EzClXqzQIqb
Comments: When did Coach do these “stick on” or “glued on” serial number patches? What time period does that usually indicate?

Thanks in advance!

Genuine, there are differences of opinion about the dates of that serial number format. Probably late 1970s or early 1980s.

Here’s one I saw with just leather strap.

Genuine but it's NOT 40-plus years old. The serial number format proves that it's no older than 1988, and it's a style 507 Pocket Waist Pouch which had a leather waist strap and wasn't even introduced until 1991 so this one would have been made in 1991 or 1992.

Style 516 is a similar style with a woven fabric belt but wasn't introduced until the Fall Preview 1993 catalog, and disappeared shortly afterwards.

Hello Authenticators, I’ve been after this bag for a while and seller is giving a big discount which makes me question its authenticity. I have taken a look and haven’t found anything off besides the big discount. Thank you in advance!

Correction 9590, not sure where I got this other number from

Can y'all please take a look at this item from GW? The rivets (not sure if that is what they are called) on the strap are black. I've only seen them in brass or nickel. The pics of the creed are rubbish and the COA is no better. Is uses the same creed photo. Is this another case of AI just making things up?

The rivets are black because the strap has been either butchered and the ends cut off to shorten it, or it's been totally replaced. The bag has been damaged and its value and usefullness seriously reduced by what we call a "chop job" to the strap and there's no way I would recommend buying it. I won't authenticate it either.

I'll need to see a copy of the creed and serial number photo before I can authenticate it. Posh's small photos often won't open for me.

Mercari
@Jett Adkins

I’ve asked for better pics of the turn lock pieces, but what do y’all think from these photos? I also asked about the difference in the creed numbers between listing and photo.

I'm not going to give any opinion until the difference between the 2 serial numbers is explained and a photo of the back of the turnlock received.
