Hi, I just received this bag today. I've read here the Made in Italy bags are rarely faked but looking at it closely it doesn't have the same style turnlock as my other Italy Coach bags and the leather is different from the Caviar leather of the Madison line. Could you please authenticate?

BeenBurned and crafty_yogi, thank you for your posts. I feel a lot better about my sunglasses now.
You're welcome. I'm glad you feel better about them.

If you'd like to upload your pictures to photobucket and copy and paste the IMG code into a response, it'll embed the images into the post and they should be full size. But based on what I've seen so far, I feel very good about them.

Hello, This is my first time posting and I would really appreciate any help anyone could give. I thrifted this bag but the serial number has me puzzled. I don't see any other mention of serial numbers in this format. Also, the creed stamp is not super deep. The bag measures 13" tall and is 14.5" across. The strap drop when set the longest is approx. 24". I'm wondering if it is an authentic Coach. Thank you!

It seems to be ok. But since there's no serial or style number - which is NOT a problem since it's a smaller bag and considered an accessory - it doesn't have to have either one - it's hard to know what style it is since Coach made quite a few different versions of this design and fabric.
Thank you so much for your quick response :) Have a Great weeekend!

The bag is fake and actually, the serial number is mentioned on the fake serial number posts as well as in Salearea's guides.

This post about 1/2 way down, you'll see this:

"22096-08 and ALL OTHER serial numbers with only 2 digits at the end, to the right of the dash, are fake"

Thank you!

Coach made over a dozen lines, large and small, in Italy and most of them will have unique creeds because the leathers often were unique to that line. There's nothing wrong with this one and it's not a Madison. It's a Sheridan Savannah Hobo, style number 4218 and made in 1992 or 1993.

Please read the Salearea Guide on Italian-made Coaches for more information.

You done good! All look fine.

For this one, the bag is a Sabrina which was made for the boutiques. Ashley is a similar MFF style but the details are simpler. Ashley doesn't have the detailing of the HAC plaque but instead has a simple script "Coach" marking.

In this case, the seller is either KWS or she doesn't know which style it is.

FINALLY - I found out the difference between them thanks to you BB
I had no idea why some were calling the bag Sabrina and others called it Ashley.
I always just followed suit.
Thanks again for more info to add to my never-ending education...lol.
