Thanks very much! Are there any threads on here on what to look for in professional restoration? Thanks again.
I think there are few people who have sent their bags off to another person for restoration. Most of us do the restoration ourselves. Check out this thread: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/ You might be able to do most everything yourself and just have a local leather shop do the restitching for you (although that is possible to do yourself too, just not very fun or easy).

Good afternoon!

Item: Prairie Bag 9954 (approx. Measurements: 9.5x8x3"; 23" strap drop)

Where purchased or how obtained: Goodwill

Comments: 99.99999999% sure this is fake based off of the serial, missing back of turnlock hardware, notches in washer behind front tab and incredibly thick strap. Could you please confirm? Thank you for your time!

Definitely fake, the serial number prefx has an invalid month code "P"never used by Coach. The back plate of the turnlock is wrong too and so is the shape of the padding above the turnlock.

May I please have an authentication?

Item: Janice 9950
Seller: treasureseakers
Site: eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/123804738245

Comments: I have the bag in my possession. I bought it for the strap (ah those straps!) but the backside of the grommets are something I haven't seen on a Coach bag - the "star" look. My collection isn't that big so I don't have much to compare it to. The bag isn't going to work for what I had in mind so I was thinking of rehabbing it and selling it but I feel like it's not authentic and if it is not authentic, I'm just going to return it.

Comments: This purse is 6'' round at the base, 10'' long at the top and 8'' tall.

Hoping for the best as this was a risk to buy without getting them authenticated first.

I thank all the Authenticators for their time and knowledge.
I do apologize for the many items today. Will try not to do it again.
