Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Oops, I mixed up the sellers.

emerald_fox is the one with the fake shown as the gallery photo. (We didn't comment on the bag because we didn't want to promote the seller.

michelleye is the seller with the G4D-9927 fake bag.

That’s ok, I figured that’s what you meant! I reported both fakes to Poshmark. Unfortunately, both of them were sold. I also put a comment on each listing - cited Purse Forum experts as the source to Michelleye, and she vehemently denied that the bag is a fake. (She may not know it is, to be fair.) as for Emerald_fox, my comment was deleted. I don’t know how she did that…

Those responses, denial and removal of comments are typical of Poshmark and the sellers there.

I laughed at michelleye's: "this bag is million percent authentic."

May I have something clarified please? I have taken screen shots of authentications of the bags I enquired about. Would you consider that a violation? If so I'll delete them. Thank you!

No, that's not a problem. I'm assuming you're explaining where they were authenticated so you're acknowledging the actual source of the screenshots. It's sites or posters that copy and post them someplace else without any link back to tPF or any mention of the source of the posts that I have a problem with.

One Posh poster Copied and Pasted part of my Guides on one of her pages without any mention of where she found them, apparently hoping others would think SHE was the author. A complaint to Poshmark resulted in them being removed. Anyone who looks through the Salearea Guides and Daria48 Fake Numbers List knows that I've made it very clear right in that thread that I consider those Guides to be protected by copyright. And a Facebook Groups owner copied photos and part of a post and only mentioned that he found them "somewhere else" because he'd probably sooner cut off his own nose than admit that he found the photos here at tPF.

The bag shown is authentic, made in 2000.

It doesn't appear (to me) to have the shine of a polished bag but wait for @whateve to comment on the white spots.

Authentic small swinger. Seller is wrong about the date. It says right in the creed, it was made in 1995. The number is not unique.
