Please follow the following requests:

• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Sorry, it's not a vintage bag and I don't do newer styles, that one is less than 3 years old. Please wait for someone who knows recent styles.

Its from mercari.
She said its authentic but i doubt. Now i dont know if i can get my money back

Did you accept the purchase or has it been more than 3 days? I would contact Mercari and tell them it is fake and you just found out. If they won't help you, open up a dispute with Paypal or your credit card company.

Its really frustrating for me. I should make an forum here before i bought it.

Yes its already been 3 days. I rated the seller right away because she assure me its authentic. Thank you for your advice. Now i learned my lesson.

You have nothing to lose by trying to get a refund anyway through Mercari.

I was going to tell you that there was a recent other Mercari fake and @lburrhead84 was able to get a refund after proving that the bag was fake.

THIS is why we ask for measurements. Coach has made a lot of very similar bags where the only obvious differences are the measurements.

There's a smaller twin to the Museum Bag, since you seem to have the bag in your possession I'm going to ask you to measure your bag to see if THIS one matches, the seller was apparently slightly off on his or her measurements. This is the 4125 Bistro Bag from the same line and it does have a longer strap, that and the smaller size would explain why the strap looks a bit longer in the listing photos than in the catalog - click the thumbnail to enlarge:

BTW, I'm never sure exactly HOW Coach measured their bags. It was never explained in the catalogs. The most accurate measurement for this one because of the tapered shape is probably going to be the front to back depth measured at the base.

All three are authentic. #1 isn't vintage, it was made in 2005, #2, the Fletcher is made with lighterweight leather; #3 isn't a Legacy Flap Trail, it is a Prairie bag made in 1995, I think.

Hey everyone! I’m super new to coach and handbags in general. Attached bag was found in goodwill bins. It’s in rough shape but the leather feels real, the inside lining feels high quality. I couldn’t find any similar styles for the pattern. Thank you for taking a look! The front has a turn lock design drawn with a magnetic closure.
