Seller : half-pint leather

I've added numbers to keep track of them more easily.

2- genuine Ridgefield Flap from 2000

3- genuine Devon Bag, but the strap may have been modified. It looks like someone added a VERY long piece and the 2 rings on the ends don't seem to be quite the same size, so the bag isn't 100 percent original. If the manny is normal human height, the strap looks like it's at least 52-55 inches. Seller doesn't give an actual strap measurement. Made in 1996.

4- Another one with what seems to be an odd strap, or shown on a hobbit-size mannequin. Seller lists the drop at 48 inches, the serial number indicates an early 1990s production date, but a Court Bag from that time should have dog-leash clips instead of the trigger-style clips it has, and would have had a 44-inch length with NO buckle or other adjustment. Coach didn't change the strap on the Court Bag to a 48-inch length with a buckle adjustment on the strap until around 1997-98. So the strap apparently has been modified or more likely replaced.
Just a comment regarding the second seller, halfpint-leather .

halfpint-leather is another ID of seller station_85.

With the closure of toolhaus, it's difficult now to isolate the negative and neutral feedbacks but both sellers have a history of (knowingly or not?) listing fakes as well as many feedbacks describing inaccurate descriptions of condition.

Beware.

It is from 2004. This is an example of a legitimate Coach mistake where they coded bags as 1994 when it should have been 2004. AFAIK, it's a mistake unique to the Costa Rican plant.

It's fine, and it is from 2004. I think it is probably the same as mine.

Hi! I just saw your question and wanted to offer some advice.. The bag you bought is the the larger Courier and the strap width you need to find is 1.25 inches. That width for those crossbody straps can be found on Janices' #9966 NOT the 9950 though! The length you want to find is between 42-46" long. Couriers have become my favorite vintage bag hands down! I loooove them! Congrats on your new purchase!

I have three Couriers, two small and one large. I've managed to find crossbody straps for all. Finding these straps is a needle in a haystack - especially color wise. But don't be afraid to mix and match or thinking outside of the box. For example, my small courier is a two toned putty and what I *think* is tabac. I found a #9112 bag for super cheap and integrated that. I did have to dye the strap just a tad to get the colors right because I am neurotic about matching! I finally found a putty colored crossbody from a 2003 #9136 that I like much better. It's currently in transit so I don't have a pic yet.. For my mocha Courier, I'm using the strap from a #9816. Example pictures below....

Long story short.. A little research and measuring and you can find what you're looking for.. Be aware of the strap width and color! It's a hunt for sure but very possible! Good luck!

Just a correction: 9966 has never been called Janice except by some misinformed sellers. 9966 is a Legacy zip, 9950 is a Janice's Legacy.

Where did you get that strap in the last picture? It's beautiful!
