Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Thank you, BeenBurned! Any thoughts on the type of leather? For that matter, has anyone come across nubuc that is shiny and smooth, resembling full-grain cowhide?

I think it is likely they put the wrong wording on the creed. Maybe they didn't have a creed stamp with the correct wording.

Unfortunately there are dozens if not hundreds of internet sites using variations of the term "Coach","coach outlet" and "coachoutlet" in their store name or URL that sell ONLY cheap fakes. Most of them are actually located outside the US but disguised to look like the real stores, including stolen photos and graphics.

Nubuck or nubuc is by definition a type of leather with a brushed or sanded nap that resembles suede. "Smooth nubuck" is a contradiction. As Whateve has already said, they probably just used the wrong stamp, or it was all they had available. The creed and serial stamping was definitely done by Coach.

I don't generally do Poshmark authentications but I'll do so in this case because I have the information.

The wallet is called a Bonnie leather zip slim envelope wallet and the style number is 42541. My record on that item is from 2009.

It's authentic. I think you're correct about the style number, 45670.

Thank you. The potential buyer said: "if you think it's authentic, show me." Didn't indicate why the concern. My photos and measurements are my showing when there's no COA. I'm not sure how to handle this, I've had a few authentic bags removed before by ebay, and not much recourse.

For any bag, but especially a bag as highly and closely faked as that style, a creed picture is needed. It can't be authenticated on the minimal 4 pictures shown.

Send the buyer a link to this "Authenticate this Coach" thread. You're welcome to also link to my authentication and the style number.

Personally, I'd block that buyer! Please PM the ID so I can block.
