Hello Authenticators, I was wondering if anyone can authenticate a vintage Coach men's leather jacket (purchased from the Goodwill auction site). My primary concern is that the creed states the jacket is made from nubuc leather. However, it feels more like regular full-grain cowhide to me! Not at all like the velvety Coach nubuc (ie. Sonoma line) that I'm familiar with. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
(ps. I've never inquired about a clothing item- please let me know if additional pics are required).

I believe that jacket is authentic.

Although J isn't a US plant code for bags, it has been seen on authentic clothing items.

Did you buy it online? If so, please post a link to the listing.

If it's from a store, you should take it back for a refund, or at least an exchange. It's illegal for any store or any person to sell fakes.

Hi Authenticators!
I saw this on Poshmark and wondered whether this is authentic and if so, when was this introduced? It says Bonnie Cashin but it appears to be newer than that.

I don't generally do Poshmark authentications but I'll do so in this case because I have the information.

The wallet is called a Bonnie leather zip slim envelope wallet and the style number is 42541. My record on that item is from 2009.

The court bag is authentic.

Both are genuine, and from the early to later 1980s. The serial or registration number in the first one has an extra number which was a known legitimate Coach plant mistake and pins the manufacturing date down to around 1988, give or take a year.

I got it from shopgoodwill. It looks identical size, hardware, stitching, strap, et cetera to other bags with no creed that came with certificates of authenticity. Eta: I found other similar bags online saying style 45670.

I hope you can get a refund. If you used a credit card to pay for it, open a dispute if the seller won't give you a refund.
