@Sia’s Botique

I JUST WANT TO ADD - since it's been quietly bugging me. The shape of the flap looks strange. The creed stamp and serial number look genuine and match others in my files, but the shape of the flap looks too rounded on the bottom. I don't know if that's due to camera settings or if there's an actual problem. I personally wouldn't buy from anyone who only posted 2 photos. And when Poshmark is involved, it just makes me even more nervous. Just checked and it seems to be a long-time Posh member even if they don't have as deep a history as many others, but with all the reports of fraud we've heard over the last year, I just want to be extra careful. That seller really needs to post more photos.

If the bag has exactly the same creed and serial number stamping as what's shown in the listing you should be OK. It wouldn't be the first time that a Coach plant has made mistakes in cutting and sewing.

Did you see any indication of what city and state the seller ships from?
Did you read the comments I added

I can't find a Posh seller using "angelhcloset". The actual URL of the listing page is needed. Poshmark listings are still viewable even after they're sold.

I'm re-posting the URL of your original post here so @whateve or another authenticator can take a look at, it's already four pages back.

There's at least as much bad information on YouTube as there is on the rest of the internet. Anyone with a computer and a Google account ID can set up a YT Channel and call themselves an "expert". That DOESN'T make them one.

Please ask here if you need recommendations for legitimate accurate authentication services. For most brands including Coach, the free authentications you get here at tPF will be as accurate as any professional service. Don't spend money on a for-pay service if you don't have to, the only time you might need them is if you need an actual Certificate to use for a dispute with a selling site like Ebay or Poshmark.
I believe it's okay too. I don't have another Willis in my records that was made in July 2003 but I do have an example of a Janice legacy and it looks identical.

Just a comment: I don't know if this is significant but every one of the X/DR creeds in my records has a bullet stamp. The Poshmark bag doesn't have one.

Another comment that further confirms (IMO) authenticity is that the July 2003 bags have puffier stamping than other months of the same year/same plant, and in this case, that consistency is a good thing.

But that doesn't change my opinion on authenticity.

ETA again: I agree with @Hyacinth that the front flap looks weird but I suspect it's the way the bag was photographed and not stuffed.

I noticed the lack of an outlet stamp too, and also that there's some variations in the fonts from that plant in 2003 and the bags with linings and creed patches tend to have a different serial stamp. The Costa Rica "P" plant from 2003 has the same variations. By that time both plants were just working with whatever leftover bits and pieces Coach decided to send them since both plants would be closed by the end of 2004 anyway. Serial number font variations didn't mean anything, those last few plants had to make do with whatever was available.

The REAL challenge is to try to find 2 examples that match exactly. X and Z plants, 2003 Dominican Republic.

The bag in question is authentic but seller gunnplay does have a history as well as having sold a fake.

Hi Hyacinth. I didn’t notice where the seller is from. You’re right, I should have asked for more pictures. Thank you & BB for looking into this. I appreciate it.
