Dear Authenticators, I have a second Ebay request for today. (The first is on the previous page). The seller has accepted a great offer on the Janice and wallet. Could you please authenticate when you have time? Many thanks! :flowers:

Both wallet and bag are authentic but neither is vintage. Bag is actually from 2004, not 1994.

I'm sorry but I don't feel comfortable authenticating that bag. Over the last few years, there have been a plethora of fakes being listed by Japanese sellers and the fakes are extremely close. The only other examples of this bag are on Asian websites and on ebay from Japanese sellers.

ETA: I don't see red flags but can't verify that it's okay. Sorry.
So I’ve already posted this bag for some authentication tips and BeenBurned has kindly already helped me with the authentication side of things.

Now I want to see if I can get it listed on eBay. Would anybody be willing to help narrow down this bag style?

From the research I’ve done, I think this bag is either a Coach West Pack or a Coach Graham Pack. Plus it has the varsity stripes. The last photo is the best comparison I’ve found via Coach Outlet.

If anybody else can give me any other details about the bag too that would be much appreciated but just looking to narrow done this bag style at the very least.

If I’m in the wrong thread for this, sorry. I just looked at the other ones and thought this was the best place to ask.

Thanks.
In my opinion, you have a problem. Trademark law and by extension, online sites require that sellers have to know (with 100% certainty) that items are authentic or they can't be listed. If a seller doesn't know if his/her item is authentic, he/she needs to find out. And if an item is deemed as counterfeit or if authenticity can't be determined (as in this case), the item can't (legally) be sold anywhere.

And if you reread my comments about the bag, I didn't authenticate it. Although there weren't any red flags, that doesn't mean that the bag is authentic. (It doesn't mean it's fake -- just that I couldn't say definitively one way or the other.)

I don't recommend selling it since you can't be 100% sure of authenticity. I do appreciate your coming here to ask about the bag before listing and I always recommend it when someone who isn't expert has an item they didn't personally purchase an item from an authorized retailer.

Other opinions are welcome. Perhaps someone else can authenticate it.

Happy Sunday Authenticators! I have made an offer for this Ebay Bleeker 9305 and would very much appreciate having the bag authenticated. Thank so much for all the time you devote as volunteer authenticators! You are amazing!

Authentic.

Hi Authenticators! Kindly verify below:

Coach Pocket Purse and Berkeley Chunky Case
eBay glamstop
Item# 165287099130
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/165287099130
Comment: I know you don't comment on colour, but if you could narrow down the year for the pocket purse, that might confirm my suspicion that it is dirty bone. :amuse: Thanks in advance!

The seller's photographic skills STINK, frankly. And the photos aren't even in order.

The suede Cosmetic case is probably a genuine Berkeley

I can't authenticate the C pattern bag with just 2 photos, the outside looks OK but that's NOT an authentication.

The beige bag is genuine, early 1990s
