Comments: Hi, can you please authenticate this clutch when you get a chance. Thank you.

It's genuine but I can't find a name or any other details for it. It was made some time in the late 1980s or early 1990s

Okay, doing this again since my ridiculous post of a few hours ago. New Years resolution....DON'T post from phone!!!!
So I checked everywhere and there is no sign of a stamp, a tag, nor holes where a tag may have been. I've found a few pictures (mostly here) but there are two styles with different features. If you look at the attached pictures you can see strap grommets vs none and piping vs. binding on the ends by the kiss locks. It's a lovely bag, and I'm dying to start cleaning it up, but if it's not authentic, I'll probably just return it. I've seen pictures of the tag on the one with the piping/grommet bag. Is there a chance that there might not be anything on the other version? The one I have is the top picture.

@whateve is the best person here for pre-creed vintage bags. But you have to understand that some very early coaches didn't have markings at all. Without some kind of permanent Coach stamp or tag from the correct time period it may not be possible to authenticate them. Bags like that should not be bought to re-sell, sometimes a buyer just has to take a chance.Nice leather or good stitching or looking like another bag in a photo can't be used to authenticate. Any manufacturer can copy another manufacturer's designs, and many do. Except for a handful of very expensive examples, there are no laws protecting fashion designs from being copied.
