So this bag turned out to be the "Baby Courier". I did some research on Debi the Restorer's site and that's how I came across that name. Not sure if it's really called that but that's what I could find.

She had a dunking and that's when I noticed the zipper pull - has anyone ever seen one like this?
I don't think I've ever seen a zipper pull like that. There is a courier pouch small, style #9505. The courier pouch large is 10 x 10 x 5, which is very close to the measurements in the listing. What makes you think this is the small one?

It appears authentic. There is no need to post pictures if we can see them in the listing. It's a stewardess bag #9525 made between the late 70s up through the late 80s.

I have the large Courier and this one is considerably smaller, with a rounder bottom and the straps do not have the metal "rivets" around the buckle holes.

Here are more pics with measurements (the "baby" is still wet from the dunking FYI)..

I bought this bag on ebay (link to listing) and it seemed authentic at the time--the creed was spelled correctly, etc... However, once it came in the mail, something about the leather just feels off. I have other authentic Coach bags where the leather feels thicker, the suedey backside feels rougher to the touch, and the exterior feels smoother. This bag does not feel buttery, and the interior feels almost like the backside of a vinyl tablecloth. But it matches many of the specifications of vintage Coach, so I'm just not sure. The seller does not accept returns, but I'm considering attempting to return it on the basis of inauthenticity. I wish I could have a bit more certainty, though.

The bag is an authentic compact pouch (I believe) , style 9620.

ETA: It's not necessary to duplicate the pictures here if they're in the listing.

Oh yeah, that is definitely the small. I can tell by the rounded bottom. I doubt Coach used the term "baby" to describe it. Most likely it was just called courier pouch, with the large one having the additional word "large."

I doubt they did too. I was just using the term from Deb - not saying that her word/names are end all be all.. It was just what I had to go off of.

I did a search of 9505 and that was very helpful! Thank you again Whateve! I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

The zipper pull looks like something a previous owner added.

Hi Authenticators,
I hope everyone is having a nice week. Could you please take a look at this bag when you have a chance? I just read some posts about wonky Sonoma creeds so I'm not too scared but I won't make a payment yet ..just in case. Thank you a bunch!!
