Hi Authenticators!
Happy holidays! I'd appreciate getting this bag authenticated. Thank you very much in advance for your time as always and please no rush from my end.

Item: Broadway satchel
Where purchased or how obtained: Consignment store
Comments: the magnetic hardware looks a bit cheaper than other ergo bags that use them so wondered whether this is genuine?

Genuine Broadway Satchel, style 9891 made in the early 1990s. It's hard to tell from the photos but I'm wondering if the magnetic snap is a bit smaller than the ones we're used to seeing on Coaches especially on bags with front flaps, that could be why it seems different. It may even be a bit thinner since it's being used on a fairly narrow piece of leather and doesn't have to hold a heavy flap or top opening closed. It's one of the brands Coach used during that period so there's no question about it being the original mag snap.

Hello Authenticators! :)

Item: Coach Womens Messenger/ Rowans bag (not sure)

Serial number: D1632 F35940

Seller and site where listed : Coach | Bags | Coach Signature Zip Crossbody | Poshmark

Comments: First women's bag I have ever purchased. Purchased on Poshmark for a fair price, but worried about authenticity. Bottom stitching seems a little off (the mirror on the "c") and the hardware for the strap is silverish (could just be wear) while the zipper and magnetic button are gold. Although the detailed button and serial tag make me hopeful. Thank you in advance!

Hi could someone please authenticate and identify this bag for me? It was bought on EBAY.
Genuine, and made in 2005. The exact name isn't in my files, but it's from the Signature Shearling line.
In the future, please include a link to the listing from which purchased and the seller ID.

The bag is called Signature shearling soft duffle.

I didn't find the wayback for the exact style but these pages show some soft duffles as well as another shearling bag from the same collection. (Click to enlarge.)

WOW...it's been tooooo long since I've visited...time flies!
Could someone have a look at this oldie? Bought at goodwill years ago, my pics.
Looks like what the coach (Re)Loved page is calling a vintage small flap bag, though many of their names seem a little off.
Approx. 11”w x 7.5”h x 2.5”d. Strap drops 16.5” to top of buckles.
Style number and real name would be much appreciated...as always thanks in advance!DSCF4179.JPGDSCF4180.JPGDSCF4181.JPGDSCF3948.JPG

Welcome back!

It's a genuine Pocket Bag, style 9875 and made in the early 1990s.

From the Fall 1989 catalog:

And while I'm here...I think I goofed on this one!
Can someone please have a look at this impulsive buy recently at local thrift, my pics.
Upon further inspection, I think there are too many things wrong...duuuhhh!
Approx. 10.25”w x 10”h x 3”d. Handle drops 2.5” to rings. Strap drops 25” to clips.
At the very least, hopefully this will help another tPF-er...
Thanks in advance, as always.

Thank you so much @Hyacinth for the detailed response! Yes, you're exactly right about this mag snap being a lot smaller than the mag snap that is usually used for the opening or the flap closure. That explains perfectly!
