Really looks exactly like the other two. The zipper does look off color and the zipper pull is larger, but color on that is same and stitching on zipper looks good. Pic of creed.View attachment 3022793

Yes, definitely fake. We learned earlier this year that the J plant was never used for purses. If I didn't know that, I wouldn't think there was anything wrong with that creed. Is the zipper pull sewed all the way around? On a lot of fakes, they don't sew across the small part just above the zipper.

Yes, the zipper pull was not sewed across the closest end. Darn, we'll let me look up the Ebay seller and warn you all!

In fact, I'd be interested if Whateve and/or Hyacinth would look at this listing from icon80s. Interestingly, whether it's intentional or not, she doesn't show the text or full creed but the stamping doesn't look right to me for the P plant. (was the P plant even open in 1994?)

Seller replyed they would return purchase price plus original shipping if I send it back to them. Please inform how to proceed? I did pay Paypal too.

You are within the deadline to file a not as described claim. First, wait for the seller to respond. She should give you a complete refund, including the original shipping cost. If she wants the bag back, she needs to pay for a shipping label for you to send it back. If she refuses to give a complete refund, you can open a case with ebay in the resolution center.

Beenburned might have some suggestions.

The bag appeared authentic and Hyacinth concluded that they had made a mistake at the plant, putting in "4" rather than "04" for the year. With the limited pictures in icon80s's listing, I don't see any other problems.

File SNAD through ebay. Your seller is a scammer (IMO) and you shouldn't be out a cent when she sold a fake. (See the post above yours where i posted another questionable Janice bag as well as a fake Dooney that your seller sold.

IMO, if the seller is smart, she'll tell you to just destroy the fake and will issue a full refund of your payment amount. Making you return it is a waste of money since she can't relist or resell it anywhere.

It's too bad you already left positive feedback. You might consider going in to add a comment that you learned she sold a fake Coach bag.

Personally, I would ask for the refund immediately. If she wants the bag back, tell her she needs to pay upfront for the postage to ship it back. I wouldn't ship the bag back until you get a full refund and the money for the postage.

Well, the Dooney is definitely fake and I'm reporting that one!

Thanks, I will keep you all informed on the outcome. I paid too much for it even if it was a real coach ( but it did come out nice after lots of elbow work!) But you know how it is if a woman has a set mind on a color and model....

I don't have a good feeling about it. I don't have a lot of pictures of this style in my files but all those I can find have a different lining. The font of the numbers and "No." don't match creeds from the B plant from my files. They do match a fake in my files.
