A very big :ty: to both of you! You guys are the best!
You're welcome!
Wow, the "concave rivets" detail! I never even thought of that angle, - thank you so much! We learn so much here. You two are brilliant!
You're welcome and thanks for the compliment. The rivets with concave backs were used on classic bags up through the 90s and possibly into the early 2000s. Recent bags have flat rivets. I'm not sure about the current classics.

Hello, I am new to the forum. Please help authenticate these two Station bags I found at a local thrift store. The creed on the black one is very faded and I can hardly make out the serial number. The bag was made in Hungary according to the creed and the serial number appears to be either A8U-5130 or A9U-5130. The hangtag is missing on the black one. The older dark green one looks authentic to me. Please confirm. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! Both bags look authentic.

Ok, that did not work! I need a tutorial on how to post from my phone. I am at a computer now and hoping these pics are enough for authentication!

I don't have a good feeling about it. I don't have a lot of pictures of this style in my files but all those I can find have a different lining. The font of the numbers and "No." don't match creeds from the B plant from my files. They do match a fake in my files.

One of my Janice bags, made in USA, has buckles that look exactly like the other two Janice's. But when I went to switch straps around for color pop, something just wasn't right. No concave on the back on that one ( pic included) and the back says solid brass. Did a good job.ATTACH]3022695[/ATTACH]

Oh that's a shame! I have a couple of bags I owned for a year before I realized they were fake. On one, it wasn't until I saw the "solid brass" on the buckle that I got suspicious.

Can you post pictures of the creed too? Are there any other differences, such as the pocket size or zipper length, from your other Janices?
