Hi Authenticators,
I found this bag today and I'm in awe with the details. I can't believe imposters would try to replicate these bags but you never know right? I appreciate your expertise.
Thank you!

It's fine. It's a signature stripe python tote but I don't believe it's real python on that bag.

I'm not seeing evidence that the creed has shrunk.

It looks authentic. The style number is 7214. It was made around 1990. Apparently after they made these, they forgot to change out the creed stamp and some bags got produced with the "bean bag" wording.

It's genuine, style 7214 and made in late 1990. If you haven't already read the story of the keyfob or at least the "Bean Bag" stamp, it's posted in the Salearea Guides thread:

and here's the Winter Preview 1990 catalog page, click on the thumbnail:

What fun facts about the Bean Bag! Thank you @whateve and @Hyacinth for sharing your photos, knowledge and time!
(Hope I did this correctly - to reply to both of you.)

And another question re: Coach beanbags....but slightly different. An Ebay seller has bright red beanbags said to have been used in the stores to stablize display bags. Does that sound like it could be true? And if so, how would the seller have gotten said beanbags if they were not made available to the public? Do the stores still use beanbags to stablize the display bags??

What do the bean bags look like? I've seen bean bags inside bags in stores to make them stand upright. I don't remember what they looked like. I don't think they had any branding on them. They wouldn't have been available to the public but an employee might have taken some. Once in awhile, you'll see store display items for sale on ebay.
