Is this authentic? Zipper and turnlock look weird to me, but I love the colour…indigo..

There's no way it can be authenticated without photos of the creed and serial number. And it's not a "Penny" (if there ever was such a style) and not a Pocket Purse either. The shape of the turnlock also looks a bit odd in the photos, like it's a bit flatter at the top and bottom than it should be. We NEVER recommend buying any "Coach" that doesn't include a creed and serial photo from a bag that's supposed to have one.

The only style that comes close is a Compartment Bag but there's no way to prove it's authentic.
Did you happen to notice this in the description? "Third Party Authenticator : Entrupy"

And further down, they state: "Disclaimer: This item was authenticated by one of the following third party vendors: Entrupy, Real Authentication, and/or ******************, all are who are leaders in the industry. Certificate(s) of Authenticty photograped will be sent with the item(s). No props are included in this auction."

I wonder how Entrupy would have authenticated this item with those pictures!

ETA: I didn't do the redaction of the name of one of the authentication companies. That's done by TPF software because the company doesn't want their name discussed here.

Comments: Authentic? Style name and year made? Do you know how many different styles of these twill and leather bags Coach made? How long were they produced? I find them really fun! Thanks in advance!

Authentic, but since the early ones made before 1994 had no date codes there's no way to date them. They were probably made as early as the mid-1980s, the earliest catalog I have with an example is from 1986, but that's just a guess. This one is the Twill version of the 9300 Companion Bag and would have a different style number, maybe 8300.

Coach was making Twill versions of a few of their styles as late as the early 2000s. Here are just a few early examples from 1986, click on the thumbnail to enlarge:

It certainly looks fake to me. Look at the shape of that turnlock. The color of the interior isn't even close to what it should be in relation to the exterior.

Would you please authenticate this bag I purchased from the consignment shop? It measures about 9" x 7.5" x 3"
Thank you
