Yes, Hungary was one of the many countries where Coach was and is made. Other European countries included Italy for handbags and small accessories as well as Spain also for SLGs (small leather goods) and Portugal for leather outerwear such as coats and jackets. There may have been one or two other European countries making wallets and SLGs.

Hoping at least one of these is authentic.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate all of your expertise :)

Hi Authenticators,
I finally found a "made in Turkey" bag so I hope it's ok. I always wanted to compare the leather to some of my other bags. Ps. I read some past posts and was surprised to see some people think they are fake so I definitely want to check here before I pay.
Thank you!!!!!

I'd have to defer to @whateve on that one. I've never owned one, and trying to figure out the differences between the real and fake ones, even with photos, just gives me a splitting headache.
The chunky cases I have had had creeds without serial numbers.

I'm not sure if it's the year(s) or factories that account for differences.

Maybe @whateve and @Hyacinth might be better able to answer with specifics.
Beenburned, Thank you so much! What a surprise!!
I was skeptical when I saw this patch that shouts out 'coach' when other chunky case I have doesn't have one but a small cartouche on the outside (subtleness I like).

Out of curiosity, do you know whether the difference between the two cases (creed vs. no creed patch) come from manufacturing years?
In my opinion, the cases without creeds were made earlier, probably in the 80s. I think they started using creeds in them in the late 90s. The creeds in these should never have a number.

I appreciate you guys taking the time to think about this one. Here's a photo of the 2 pocket corners inside out. Nada. No tag. The hardware looks good, the bulk of the exterior material looks good. I suppose it could be a fluke that there's no tag inside perhaps a factory mistake?
Still no red flags.

Feel around and check the bottom left corner inside the open pocket. I think there should be a tag there. You may have to almost turn that pocket inside out to photograph it.
Please and thank you for your expertise!! I bought this thing from shop goodwill online and now I've got it looks really peculiar. No creed, no inner labels of any kind. https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/131058409 There's a lot of like scuffing and/or flaking of the material on the outside of the bag. The embossing of Coach in gold is uneven and faint on one side. If you all think it's fake, I'll ask to return it. 10 inches by 7 inches.
I believe it is authentic. It was made around 2012, if I remember correctly. I believe it was made before they were using the labels with style numbers. It looks like style #49392. There are some on ebay with creeds and I believe there are some without creeds. I think the earlier ones didn't have creeds.

1- we need a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number. Goodwill's COAs often can't be trusted.

2- genuine, probably a Convertible Clutch style 9635 from the mid-1980s.

3- also a genuine Convertible Clutch, same time period as number 2

4- genuine Light Hobo, style 4017 from the Lightweight line and made in the early 1990s

#1 no creed picture, can't be authenticated.
#2 authentic convertible clutch made in the 1980s
#3 authentic convertible clutch made in the 1980s
#4 authentic. Probably something from the lightweights collection made in the late 80s/early 90s. It's probably black. The blue of these usually wasn't confused with black. It might be 4017 Light hobo.
