I think a bigger and even more obvious problem is with the plant code on the creed of fefesfabfinds's bag (aside from the year and style number)!

ETA: fefesfabfinds also has this fake "Coach" wallet!

We've seen a few apparently genuine "N" plant codes in 1994, but so far only in bags with C, D or E month codes. Anything more recent shows red flags. Here are a few examples, note that even though the creeds look similar other than a change in the wording, the Coach logo is different, the real ones still show the remnant of "leatherware" under Coach. In the fakes, the name Coach is centered, with nothing under it.

REAL - C4N-9927
1994_N-plant-US_C4N-9927.jpg

REAL - E4N-9927
1994_N-plant-US_E4N-9927-b.jpg

Probable Poshmark FAKE G4N-9944 in what's trying to be a style 5281 (which wasn't introduced until the Holiday Preview 1995 catalog)
1994_N-POSS FAKE_G4N-9944-sh-prob-be-5281-a.jpg

FAKE H4N-4145 - according to the catalogs, this style wasn't even introduced until the Holiday 1997 catalog

AND IF ANYONE HAS WONDERED WHY I KEEP SAYING THAT TO ACCURATELY AUTHENTICATE COACH BAGS YOU NEED A MASSIVE PHOTO LIBRARY SHOWING CLEAR DETAILS OF BOTH REAL AND FAKE ITEMS, THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE.

Anyone who can't be bothered to save, study and RESEARCH photos and text showing these kinds of details has no business calling themselves a Coach authenticator.

Looking at YOU, D-D.

Go to the transaction and find the return button. Just make sure you choose the correct reason. The seller will have to pay for return shipping and supply the label or ebay will supply it paid for by the seller's funds.

Ebay seller immediately agreed to give a full refund and apologized for selling a fake item. She said to just toss the bag as she doesn't condone fakes. Thank god!

On the authentic 1994 N plant creeds, the "o" in "no" is smaller and rounder than that on the fakes and probably fake bags. The underscore is longer/wider on the fakes and probably fakes too.

Hi Authenticators!
Thank you so much for saving me from losing money on a fake Coach bag the other day!!

Today, I wanted to get your expert opinions on my duffle sacs I acquired over the years. They are two identical bags in the same color. I want to sell one of them and want to make sure I'm not selling a fake! Please also advise me on the years that these bags are manufactured. I want to keep the older one :-)

Item: Duffle sac 9085
Where obtained: flea market/ local consignment store
