Good afternoon,

I'm hoping to see if I could have this bag authenticated, please?

Item: Leather Purse Bag Legacy (but I believe it's a Patricia's Legacy)
Listing #: 164819871285
Site: Ebay
Seller: professorpt
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Co...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

Comments: I think it needs a little TLC, but is within my very limited rehab skills.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello: I was wondering if this was authentic.

Item: Chelsea bag
link: https://posh.mk/M5aofm5ljjb
Seller: abbyseals

Thank you!
Genuine Chelsea made in the early 1990s
abbyseals is another poshmark ambassador mixer!

In that case, the seller would have to accept the return and issue a prepaid return shipping label if she wants it back. If the seller doesn't agree to the return, i.e., if she doesn't approve it, you can escalate to have ebay resolve.

Unfortunately, that's probably what I'd do since I'd not want to carry a questionable bag and would want to resell it after I was done using and couldn't sell if I didn't know that it was authentic.

She is not happy with me, but she is letting me return it. She doesn't get that the listing says "Authentic", but she cannot provide any documentation to verify its authenticity and she doesn't think she should have to since it was not indicated to have such documentation in the listing. I didn't mention that she's sold or tried to sell fake Coach bags before. lol, I guess we will both mutually exclude purchasing/selling to each other going forward.

Thank you for the recommendation!

It's not surprising that raxeitup66 isn't happy with you nor you with her.

But the fact is that it's a seller's responsibility to know items are authentic and if authenticity isn't known or cannot be proven, an item cannot be sold. PERIOD! And with these types of supposedly "sample" items, sellers darned well better make sure that they hold on to any types of documentation from either their original purchase or from a reseller if they aren't the original purchaser.

She isn't doing you a favor by accepting the return. She MUST do it since she has no way to prove that the item is genuine.

This is precisely why we recommend against buying an item that is alleged to be a sample. ALthough in this case, it can't be proven fake, it also can't be proven authentic. (We have seen some fake "samples," though.)

Hi. My daughter knows how much I love coach bags and she bought me a lot of them. Unfortunately most or all are all fake. Im at a loss for what to do. Please can someone direct me on actions I need to take. She thought I could clean them up and use some of them while giving away the rest to family and friends. She spent all of her summer earnings on trying to bless me and she didnt realize what she was doing. Thank you.
