Good evening! Can this be authenticated, please? Thank you!

Item: COACH Leather Red Shoulder Bag w/ COA
Listing number: 128431175
Seller/site where listed: shopgoodwill
Link: shopgoodwill.com/Item/128431175
Comments: If authentic, is style #9076 a Companion Flap and does JOC indicate it was made in 2000? And it looks like the hardware might be nickel instead of brass; any opinion on the sturdiness of nickel hardware vs. brass? Thank you for your expertise!

It would be nice to see the entire serial prefix but it looks genuine. Correct on both the name and the year.

I don't remember any members here complaining about the early nickle hardware on genuine Coaches. There's no reason why it shouldn't be as durable as the brass.

The bag is authentic though it's always a good idea to verify listings, especially with Entrupy COAs because Entrupy gets it wrong pretty frequently.

The bag was made in 2000. I've had bags with nickel hardware and haven't had problems.

FFH (faster fingers Hyacinth) beat me!

Please advise if this coach plaza is authentic. Looking to buy from a friend but kind of wonder on the turn lock.

Wow! You’re both incredibly speedy! Thank you for confirming my guesses, Salearea is a such an excellent study guide. :flowers:

I’m being cautious with anything Entrupy. After hearing about all of their mixups, all their approvals give me pause.

I’m excited! Coach + silver gives me major NY 90s vibes. Thank you!

I found this one at a local Goodwill store. Please help authenticate. The creed says H4L (space no dash) 4143. Style name, and approximate time of manufacture? (PS. I already bought it.) By the way, if it is legit, can anyone also identify the color? At the store, I thought it was a dark teal blue. When I got it outside in the light it absolutely looked gray. Like a charcoal gray. Then it occurred to me, maybe it's black and faded? What do you think? One of the photos I've got the strap color next to a known black object (my cell phone case). Thank you for your time and expertise.

Sorry. It’s fake.
Unless there’s a return policy, it’s not a good idea to buy second hand or from thrifts unless you check first to verify authenticity.

Hi ladies, I think I might’ve gotten fake Durham mini. Do let me know your thoughts:
Seller/site: shopgirl312 on ebay

Comments: is there supposed to be two different coloured threads? Also the piping isn’t finished all the way up under the flap but ends awkwardly imo (see pic 2). The studs at the sides also look larger than what i think they’re supposed to be (see pic 3). The strap also doesn’t feel as robust to me but perhaps that’s just a modification/replacement strap and the main bag is real(?). Do let me know if more pics are required. Thank you!
