Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

ETA: I just got a message the seller canceled my purchase five minutes after it was processed. They then, of course, immediately turned around and resisted the bag for twice the price. When I tried to message them, they have me blocked. Jerk.

Could you please advise if this large bucket is authentic

Knowing which plant codes are "valid" isn't going to help you authenticate a bag if you don't know where the plants were located, when those plants were used, font used by various factories or creeds and texts used in which years.

Although it's an invalid plant code (among other problems with the bag you showed), the F plant can be valid and correct on other bags.

To avoid buying or listing fakes, it's best to have your items verified until there comes a time that you're familiar enough with what to look for that you can validate items yourself. (And for all of us, there are going to be some items we still have to ask about!)

I wonder why C2E shop is being a crappy seller! I'm sorry she stuck it to you.

Just for that, I won't comment on her listing because I don't recommend buyers give lousy sellers their hard earned money.

I've had several Bedford items also (including the same wallet as @whateve posted) and all have lozenge lining.

I've seen that diamond lining before and it's always been on a fake.

The listing doesn't show it but I'm betting that the zipper pull is off also. @Bales25, please post a picture of the zipper pull.

Here's the zipper pull on that fake wallet trying to be a Bedford. The seller is saying they purchased it as a Coach and still believe it is Coach, but are not disputing the case. Still waiting for PM to approve a return, though, but it's the weekend so I'm assuming I'll hear tomorrow.

The fake doesn't have any stamping on it. Just got an email that PM cancelled the order, so I don't even have to ship it back and can just dispose of it.
