• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hello Can you help me authenticate?
Coach Cassie bought from an online seller. I am asking these questions bec. I have not seen a Cassie in store. Thanks in advance!
My concerns are:

the strap hardware has some black stains(?) should it be all gold brass?
The flap inside, has wrinkles and I could feel the top handle.
The overall feel of the leather should it be a bit shiny? Mine feels a bit rubbery?

Knowing which plant codes are "valid" isn't going to help you authenticate a bag if you don't know where the plants were located, when those plants were used, font used by various factories or creeds and texts used in which years.

Although it's an invalid plant code (among other problems with the bag you showed), the F plant can be valid and correct on other bags.

To avoid buying or listing fakes, it's best to have your items verified until there comes a time that you're familiar enough with what to look for that you can validate items yourself. (And for all of us, there are going to be some items we still have to ask about!)
