Thanks for this! When I joined tPF almost 3 years ago, I read every post on her Hermes rehab thread...missed this though. She's amazing and certainly ambitious...this makeover is truly amaizng! Certainly food for thought...just don't know if I'm that brave

I guess this should go to the rehab page but I tried removing color transfer lines from a Brighton crinkle patent leather bag, going so far as to put bleach paste on it and it wouldn't budge

If I had my druthers those would be required reading for anyone posting to the forums, but of course I'm a bit biased.

Those combination number-and-letter style numbers are the oddballs though, 2005 was the only year Coach used that format. The year code in the prefix still follows the usual rules.

Pricing information sometimes can be found in catalogs, listing photos that still show the original price tag, or if you get lucky, on the Coach.com pages of the Wayback Machine.

Whoa! I definitely would've taken the chance and restored this bag as well. Looks like it really paid off, what a stunning repair.

(From the reviews of the black version of this model, it was noted that the inside of the bag is really unlined. What bothers me is the creed - everything on it looks okay except for the lack of underscore on the o of No. Is the underscore always present? Thanks)
