It looks fine to me, I have its twin. Legacy Leather Medium Shoulder Flap made in 2008. The leather was called Garcia leather by Coach, sometimes you'll see bags from that line identified as "Garcia Leather... " followed by the style description.

ETA - The color looks like Amethyst. A few Coach pages describe it as having the Legacy Stripe lining but the ones we've seen have solid color linings. I don't know if the very early examples had the stripe linings. There are 5 pages of posts here mentioning the style number:

Thank you so much!!!

Hello would you please authenticate this Olympics Fanny pac I purchased from a local estate sale? I really like it. Did Coach have a catalog of Olympics items during the 1996 Olympics? I would love find some accessories to go with. Thank you. Measures about 9" x 6"

Genuine USOC Waist Pouch, style number 658. The USOC items had unusual serial numbers that didn't follow the standard 1995-96 format, they used the style number as the first half of the serial number and didn't use any date or plant codes. We've seen a few fakes so they should all be authenticated.

There's never been a strong market for them, which is a bit surprising. Maybe it's because of the tragic bombing that most people remember about the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta.

There were only two pages of items in the Holiday 1995 catalog at least in the digital version I have, along with a few other styles that didn't make it into that catalog. That's the only one I have with Olympic items:

Hello all! So happy I found this forum. I’m recently getting into vintage coach. I’ve heard/seen some super fakes ( didn’t know fakes were out back in the day) I’m having some trouble authenticating this bag. As the serial number is different than others I’ve seen online. Any helpful advice and or tips would be appreciated.
Purchased this bag at a local shop.
also it doesn’t look black. Could the color be Forrest green?
