Hi all!
May I ask for authentication of this bag that has unusual serial #. I read in the guide that these 8 digit serial happened in older bags.

Item: small compartment bag
Seller: Japanese consignment store
Serial reads as '16458901'

Hi authenticators! Is this one genuine? Thank you always for your help!
item: turnlock wallet
link: https://posh.mk/xDxmS4iGdhb
seller: san2071

Sorry, there are several details on that case that don't match the photos in my files. There's a good chance it's not genuine. Those small cases with the striped lining were frequently faked.

To build on what @Hyacinth said, I'd add that the item being a Poshmark listing makes the purchase of a questionable item even more risky.

ETA: san2071 also sold this one. I'm not comfortable with it either.

It's good. Most of those 8-number serial numbers were made in or around 1988-89. It certainly looks like the Compartment Bag Small.

Thank you to you both! I went ahead and cancelled my order, don’t want to pay for something that has the chance of being fake.
