Please include the URL of the listing page you bought it from and the seller's name. We require that the information listed in the IMPORTANT - READ ME post at the top of each page be included. Any authentication requests for bags or other items bought from online sellers whether companies or individuals MUST include that information.

We also need a CLEAR READABLE PHOTO OF THE ENTIRE SERIAL NUMBER. It's impossible to see any important production details about the bag from the photo you posted, the serial number is unreadable.
Yes, I apologize for my oversight although I read the READ ME post. Here's the missing info:

Seller: hdyresalellc
Listing#: NA
Link: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m35156615488/
Please authenticate this bag. I'm having a feeling that this is fake... I got it off mer Cari.

There's no stitching (as in bottom label is made of two pieces of leather instead of the two) in the middle of the bottom panel. I see similar bags with and without stitching in the middle. Was there two sizes to this East West bag?
We still can't see a clear readable serial number in those pictures so it can't be authenticated. You could possibly be comparing two different styles.

This was the right place for my response. I apologize for all the confusions and messiness..

And the better pic of the serial number. The embossing of the creed is very light. Can't see it clearly even by bare eyes.
Serial numbers are placed very close to the seam and so hard to see numbers.

It seems to read F0D- 9167.

I just posted the pic. This is the best I can. I even flipped the purse inside out to take this pic. The number is placed really close to the seam..Also, it's really faint and not embossed clearly...

You can NEVER compare one style's details to another bag just becausre they're "similar". You can ONLY compare details between two bags that are EXACTLY the same style, with the same exact style number and preferably made in approximately the same time period. A genuine style 9167 can ONLY be compared to other genuine style number 9167s.

Coach, just based on an educated guesstimate, has made at least 5000, and probably more, DIFFERENT handbag styles, from small to large, all with different style numbers. Doesn't it stand to reason that some of them are going to be similar? How many different ways can you make a purse? Don't ever waste time comparing details between apples and oranges.

The bag that that serial number is inside is genuine. The name, believe it or not, is "LEGACY TOP OF COUNTER COMPARTMENT BAG". And no, I don't know why.

Read the six Salearea Guides posted here for accurate information including what to believe and what not to believe about Coaches:

This abused Coach is a bag rehabber’s dream (or nightmare)! With my limited knowledge, it’s a genuine bag, just neglected. Is my assessment correct? Thank you! The eBay seller is reissuedbyrobin

Comment: I have seen several of these bags from Turkey with “vari-ations” in the creed

Different plants could use different creeds. You can't EVER compare Coaches unless they're the same style number from the same plant, month and year.

Good to know, thank you! Appreciate knowing your authenticity thoughts on this particular one, I’d love to try my hand at a rehab
