Genuine, from 2003. But since it was made for the Factory Stores, the name never made it on to Coach's website so unless someone has one with the original price tag, the name isn't known.

Is this coach inauthentic? I'm a little suspicious

You are correct to be suspicious. It's fake.

Hmmm ... What details signify that this bag is fake? Could it have been produced for Coach Outlet stores?
We don't like to go into a lot of detail about what's wrong with a fake. Not only does it help the counterfeiters to improve their fakes but it also helps dishonest sellers to do whatever might be necessary to unload a fake.

What I will say is that it's absolutely NOT a bag that was produced for the outlet. MFF (made for factory) bags aren't fake and wouldn't be authenticated as fake if they're outlet bags.

There are problems with the bag and its construction as well as with the creed and serial numbers. On the creed, there are inconsistencies between the text and the serial number based on when and where the bag would have been made.

Please authenticate this bag. I'm having a feeling that this is fake... I got it off mer Cari.

There's no stitching (as in bottom label is made of two pieces of leather instead of the two) in the middle of the bottom panel. I see similar bags with and without stitching in the middle. Was there two sizes to this East West bag?

Please include the URL of the listing page you bought it from and the seller's name. We require that the information listed in the IMPORTANT - READ ME post at the top of each page be included. Any authentication requests for bags or other items bought from online sellers whether companies or individuals MUST include that information.

We also need a CLEAR READABLE PHOTO OF THE ENTIRE SERIAL NUMBER. It's impossible to see any important production details about the bag from the photo you posted, the serial number is unreadable.
