It's reassuring to know that there are other oddballs that have style numbers starting with 6. One of the eBay sellers that has an identical bag confirmed the same serial number.
It's constructed exactly the same as this one, but has the pebbled leather on the flap, straps and bottom. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-9315-...339?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b122ff373
Thank you both for authenticating it. I'm just happy to know it's genuine.

You're welcome! That one is style #9315 Bleecker backpack and it has smooth leather, but it looks like they used the same design but gave it a different style number and creed because of the pebbled leather.

I'm also seeing # 6162. The first number looks almost like an 8 but 8162 belongs to a Girlie Herringbone Hobo. I suppose this might still be considered a Bleecker because of that little "puff" detailing on the front just like what the Bleecker satchels and totes had at the base of their handles.

Nice detective work, ladies! :smile1:

Now I'm completely confused. That link takes me to listing #391147156339 sold by sraider1002 and the title is "Coach 9315 Vintage Black Leather Daypack Backpack USA."

Is this the listing I was supposed to see?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-VTG-D...012?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f4cdef204

Why did you see that and I saw the other one?

No, I linked the Black Bleeker purposely, because I found several of those with the 9315 style number, figuring it was more common and recognizable.

I didn't link to the brown with brass trim listing at all, but it is the one I was referring to that the seller confirmed that it had the same serial number as mine.

Thank you! I was confused by Hyacinth's answer.

Item: Authentic Coach Handbag
Listing number: 201352721337

Comments: Please authenticate for me

It's fake.

Wow, that is a pretty good fake. I wasn't sure myself.
It's really a very bad fake. Coach never used that lining with the shiny Cs. Items with signature on the exterior won't have signature on the inside. The style number, which is the number after the dash, goes to a different style. The font on the creed is wrong. The creed prefix of M3U appears on many fakes. See how the end of the zipper sticks out and looks sloppy?

It appears to be copying this style: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-1481-...157?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item41967299f5

You can see for yourself that it isn't a very good copy. Make sure you continue to get everything authenticated before purchase.
