Hi authenticators, grateful if y’all could peek at this one that’s been on my radar for awhile...

Item: Hoping it’s a Twin Clutch (9380)
Seller: karnetcreative
Link: https://posh.mk/633KCrDOGgb
Comments: The color seems unique, burgundy maybe? Interested to hear your thoughts based on time period.

Genuine, from the mid-1980s. It looks like Burgundy but you probably won't know for sure until you dunk it.

Thanks for the extra pictures. I believe it is fake. All pre-creed and pre-serial number marketing totes I've seen have smaller unattached pockets like the white one you posted. If Coach went to all the trouble to glue in a creed, why didn't they also include a number? And why cut it in that weird shape? Why not just replace the interior pocket with one that was stamped with a creed and number? I think that would have been fairly easy to do.

Hello!

I have never seen a zippered purse/pouch like this before. Is it authentic? Its the same Coach stamp I see inside of vintage coin purses.

Seller: 2businesscasual
I had one of these once but I can't find the pictures of it. I don't know what it was called. It looks fine.

A no refund/no return policy is out the window when it comes to the sale of illegal items. And whether the store knowing sells a fake or isn't aware is irrelevant. They were required (by law) to verify authenticity before putting items on the sales floor.

(This isn't to say that stores do that; only that that's the law.)

But for $2, you can probably make use of the leather for tassels or patching.
Thanks for the heads up.

I think it's an early Mini Skinny, maybe the first one. Holiday 1996 catalog:
