Interesting... Ebay is not allowing me to report this item and says "contact customer service". Once at CS there's no link for reporting a counterfeit item. Perhaps someone else has already reported this fake and it is being processed.
It's apparently been removed. I'm getting the "We looked everywhere..."page.
Is this what you're seeing @LadaZuri? I get it intermittently only on Safari but not on Chrome. Try a different browser.

It's strange, I sometimes get the same message (using Chrome) when I try to report, but then if I sign out and sign in again I can report with no problems and don't get any "We looked everywhere" page either.

Yes that was the message I saw and I was using chrome.

That's interesting... I was wondering if Ebay blocked further reports on the same item while they processed the initial report?

Hi! I picked this up at a second hand store for $5 but I think it’s fake because the heat stamp looks wrong to me :( I’m not 100% sure though.... could anyone confirm one way or another? Thank you so much!

I don't think that's the case because when I get the error message, I simply switch browsers and report on the different browser. It goes through on the new attempt on the different browser.

I suspect it's just another ebay glitch.

It's fake although the serial font is very close to the genuine W plant font. The W plant is a Chinese plant but your fake states that it's US made.

In fact, I have in my records a side by side comparison of a fake vs. authentic G3W prefix bag. Your bag has the same font and country mistake as my comp. (I'm lazy and didn't prepare the same comparison with your bag.)

Does this look like a "real" Coach bag? The lining seems kind of plain, and I don't see an item number badge. https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/121781974 "Coach Coral Leather Tote Purse"Coral Coach Tote.jpg I did some research and can't find anything like it. I did find a 2012 coach bag with a similar cut out handle. Didn't have time to ask you all, so I went ahead and bought it! On the off chance it's something rare and authentic and cool. :) Thanks for any insight.

We need more pictures that aren't shown in the listing.

1. made in tag, probably sewn into an interior side seam
2. white label with production info- 2 rows of numbers and letters. You may have to feel around carefully inside a pocket, possibly turning the pocket inside out to read and photograph it.

Thanks! When it arrives, I'll give it a thorough go over and photograph and share the pics then!

Ok friends, it’s time to bring this bag out for discussion.

Comments: Looks good, right?

Backstory: bought to rehab and take to a Coach store to get decorated with a few pins. Store didn’t have all that I wanted, but said they’d order them in, do it up, and ship it back within the week. Ten days later, store called me, says this bag is not authentic, but cannot elaborate as to the specifics, just inconsistencies.

here are some additional pictures

It's an absolutely genuine Legacy Medium Studio Flap from the Costa Rica plant made in 2000. The serial number font is exactly right and matches every other genuine example in my files, and it has a detail on the magnetic snap NEVER found on fakes.

Here are a few more examples of Costa Rica creeds from that time period 1999-2002. Please tell the "Coach people" that I've been authenticating here at tPF and also on Ebay since about 2005. My current post count here at tPF is 30,369, most of those are Coach authentications.

Please also point out to them not only the VERY distinctive font used in the style number (especially the '9's), but also the simple fact that ALL OF THESE EXAMPLES EXCEPT ONE ALSO HAVE COACH OUTLET STAMPS!

ETA - also a quich Search of Ebay found SIX additional examples just from 2000 using the Search parameters "coach 0P" (coach zero P) to specify examples from any month, with a year code of ZERO for 2000 and a plant code 'P' for Costa Rica:
