It looks exactly like a wristlet I bought for my daughter at the outlet several years ago. I believe it should have a made in tag inside but I guess someone could have cut it. The signature pattern is centered like it should be and the texture of the fabric looks correct. What does the lining look like?
Here are pictures of the lining. The inside tag states made in China. The lining and the hardware look ok. Your thoughts?Lining 1.jpgLining 2.jpg

Here is the link to order.
Attached are copies of my invoice and pictures of two fakes:

If you want pictures of the remainder of the bags, I can supply them as it was my intent to do so once I had cleaned up the bags. I need to make dinner so it will be another post.

The box is a potluck pick. You do not pick nor see the bags prior to receipt. I ordered for fun. However, I did not expect to receive fakes.

What makes you think the wristlet is fake?

I agree with @whateve. There's no problem with it. The wristlet is authentic. If there were 5 items in the lot, they should issue a refund of $20 per fake.

ETA:Wristlet appears to be style 43434.

Great! Thank you so much for your help. Sorry if the message appeared as a duplicate.

Is there anything I should look for in the future to help me identify the bag as authentic?

There are no one or two details that show a bag is fake, just as there are no one or two details that can ever prove it's genuine. There are a hundred different details that can raise a red flag. Unless someone has photos of genuine bags, hardware, creed stamps, serial numbers, and dozens of other details, they are going to miss catching a large number of fakes. That's one reason why there are more than 4 thousand pages of posts here just asking for Coach authentications, and there is an older thread with many more questions that has been archived. If there were just one or two signs that a Coach is fake, all those questions and answers would not be necessary.

Either let the experts here authenticate it BEFORE you buy it, or be sure to ONLY buy from internet sites or trusted shops that offer a full refund if an item turns out to be counterfeit or Not As Described.

Ask us here if a site can be trusted to give refunds for fakes.

Thank you, Hyacinth for the authentication of the file bag, and thank you BeenBurned for the authentication of the wristlet. I appreciate your patience with my questions, concerns. I will post the other two once I clean them up and can bring them indoors.

Thanks again for the help. What is official the name of the fake style? Do you know approx what years they were produced?

The genuine style was made in the late 1990s. We've seen other counterfeits of that style and don't recommend buying it without having it authenticated, if you're thinking of looking for a real one.

The genuine Coach style was called a Handle Backpack. The fakes don't have names and don't deserve names.

Thought I would ask, is this a good example of a floating M plant and a floating month and year:amuse:

The plant code M is a floater. The month and year codes are just mixed up, the term "floater" doesn't apply to mistakes.

Hello. I would appreciate your help authenticating these two items.

Comments: I read the X refers to it being sold at discount stores such as Tjmaxx, Marshalls... Would there be any difference in the leather, workmanship?

Thank You.

Could someone please tell me if this is authentic? The creed looks off to me. Thanks!

Both look okay. I don't believe there is a difference in quality on bags with an X, at least on vintage bags. I've had a few and they seemed exactly the same.

Good Morning,

Please can you find a moment to authenticate my latest purchase:

Purchased: EBay UK
Seller: hannahbananapants
Link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164811882403
Comments: My research tells me this may be a Convertible Clutch, Style Reference 9635, pre-1994. She is a dramatically dark navy...do you know her age/colourway please?
She is actually a lot more beat up than the sale images (now in-hand), but hopefully she will rehab well).
The hangtag appears to be black, so possibly not original?

Many thanks in advance. Please stay safe.

Zoe xx
