Hi there!
I’m looking at this Coach Court bag on eBay and the stamped on creed is 0278-308 and am wondering is it authentic? The creed # is different since Cout bag was usually listed as 9870.

PLEASE READ the six Salearea Coach Guides for answers to common questions about Coach bags, especially vintage bags and details like serial numbers

Once you've read them, I'll be happy to authenticate the bag.

Thank you Hyacinth. I have reread them, sorry, I forgot about the serial numbers in pre-1994 bags not being identifiable. I'll make sure to go back regularly to keep myself refreshed.

Hi! What a great forum to stumble across. I recently bought this Coach backpack on Vestiare collective with direct shipping. The quality seems great and the serial number seems to make sense. However one thing I've noticed it that the metal zips on my bag are a bronze colour . Images of this bag online seem to have grey metal zips instead. The zipper heads on my bag seem to be a different colour to the zips. Any help is appreciated!

We need to see more than one picture to identify it.
And PLEASE READ the six Salearea Coach Guides for answers to common questions about Coach bags, especially vintage bags and details like serial numbers:

I found the listing. We need seller IDs and link to actual listings.

seller closet_ecology

It's an authentic Court bag, style 9870 but as you'll read in the Salearea guides, it was made prior to 1994 and doesn't have the style number as part of the serial number.

The good news is that I've sold three red bags in the past week. The other news is that it's apparently time for a new one. My offer was accepted but I haven't paid yet.

I bought my first of these a few weeks ago in yellow (!!!!) and was surprised how easy they are to carry. Hoping for good news here. Thank you all in advance. Proud to continue to advance the number of posts on these threads!!

Thank you for my Coach education. I have learned so much and have such a long way to go.

Hi, in the midst of cleaning this baby up. And yes, it’s mold, womp, womp. I can’t for the life of me figure out what colour it is. At the moment it actually looks like British Tan. What colours did they come in?
British tan is a possibility. Also tabac. We can only guess at colors as they change over time with use, we don't know the exact date the bag was made and which colors were available at the time, and catalogs don't always show all the colors they made a bag in. BT and tabac are listed on the catalog page for this bag so we know it came in those colors.

Thank you so much. Also, I have to say the Coach authenticators are the best. I asked about a bag in another forum. Was told if there wasn’t an online link, they wouldn’t bother. Paraphrasing, but that was the gist.
