Hi, I purchased two Black Coach purses at an estate sale and wanted to see if anyone could help provide information that would help me confirm if they are authentic or not.

Bag #1
Coach Messenger Style bag
No. J9P-9927
Purchased at estate sale
Attached images labeled 9927
My question is about the spacing in the No. There is a space between the 9 & P. I saw a separate thread about this bag but didn't see if they had a similar spacing in the images in the reply. There was a separate blog that mentioned that there should be no spaces within the number.

Bag #2
Coach shoulder bag
No O31-1119
Purchased at estate sale
Attached images labeled as 1119
I could not find anything on-line or within this thread for this No O31-1119 so I am questioning the authenticity.

Any guidance provided is appreciated.

ETA pardon the upside down creed, I have no idea why it does that. I promise you I am not taking upside down photos! LOL! Hope it's not too annoying. Thanks!

All-number serial numbers are from before 1994 and are NOT searchable, read the six Salearea Guides starting with Post 14 in this thread for details. It doesn't hurt to read the first 13 posts for some background either;

Genuine Coaches made from 1994 to the present should have at least one letter of the alphabet in the serial number.

The bag with the 1119 serial number is genuine. We need measurements, which should be included with authentication requests and is especially necessary if you need a name for it. It might be a Classic Hobo from the late 1980s.

the other is also genuine. It's a Willis Bag made in 1999. (This is a correction of my earlier comments)

Genuine, but I can't quite read the year code, it looks like a 7 for 1997

Hello authenticators! Could you take a look at this belt? If you could tell me anything more about vintage coach belts or link me to reading material, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Good morning.
Can you help me authenticate this bag.
Everything's looks fine. But there is a leather split on the bottom that is not centered, and that looks off to me.

Good morning. Can someone please help me authenticate this bag. Everything seems fine, but if you noticed the last picture on the bottom trim, there is a split on the leather that is not centered. It is more towards one side of the bag and that looks off.

Please don't post the same request more than once.

Thats NOT a split, it's the ends of the binding. That's how it's supposed to be sewn.

Please read the instructions in the READ ME post at the top of each page. We need to know where and when it was purchased. If it's currently listed somewhere for sale, we need the site name, seller name and URL.

Thank you Hyacinth! I still have a bunch to go...is one more for this evening okay to request?

Whip it on us! It's just another drop in the bucket. Another fish in the sea. Another brick in the wall.
(Hey, what's a weekend without a little Pink Floyd?)

I'm starting to get punchy...
